Excited for you guys to react to this! Its a bit different in format from Last Airbender, where each season should be considered its own story rather than a series-long plot.

Awesome, keep in mind that when the show was made they were only scheduled for 1 season until nick decided to renew and that happened again with the other seasons so each season is quite contained and doesn't flow quite like TLA but it is still an amazing series in its own right, just flows differently.

Since you asked Suraj around episode 6 - 8 was when this show had me hooked, and then I finished the first two seasons in a day and found myself waiting 6 months for the third.

to add on to this point this was due to the fact that the writers weren't sure whether nickelodeon was going to continue the show after each season, so some seasons had to have a more definitive ending to it's story in that same season incase the show got cancelled but things do get carried along season by season in different ways in terms of character development etc.

Season 3 is when this show gets REALLY good. Season 1 was really solid overall, while Season 2 was the low point of the show. Nothing beats the season 4 finale..I can't wait for you to react to it.

Aaahhhhh!! Its finally here! You guys are about to embark on an amazing journey! Just remember to not compare Legend of Korra with the Last Airbender. Unfortunately as Korra aired, the “fandom” did not give it a chance and did not enjoy the show just because it was not The Last Airbender. Two different but amazing shows! Enjoy guys :)

I think its helpful to know or remember. When this was made they did not think they would get more than 1 season. This happened again with season 2, then season 3 and 4 were secured. Just keep that in mind

I'm so happy you guys started it and liked the first episode. I had a feeling you guys would. Korra is every bit as BEAUTIFUL and amazing as Avatar. The music is emotionally stirring, and the characters go through many changes and struggles. Korra will definitely develop as a character and you guys will go through emotional highs and lows with this show. Enjoy.

Woooo LoK time! Regardless of what others may say, I have always felt that LoK does many things better than TLA did. TLA is a better series as a whole, but the fight scenes, animation quality, villains, and overall maturity level hit new heights in LoK.

They went to great lengths to show that Korra is totally different from Aang right off the bat, Korra embraced being the Avatar instead of running from it, she picked a fight with the Triads instead of picking a peaceful option, she lived a super sheltered life (didn't think you had to pay for food) instead of globe hopping like Aang pre-iceberg, so even through there are similarities, each Avatar is their own person

While ATLA was focused on character journeys, LOK deals with big ideas that are very relevant to the world today. The characters in LOK may not be as memorable as the ones in ATLA but it is definitely a worthy addition to the series. Hope you guys enjoy it!

In case you guys missed it, the name of Tenzin's sky bison is Oogie, not Appa. The origin of that name can be found in the comics as well. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the series premiere. I know it's sad to leave ATLA behind but I think you're really going to enjoy this on its own merits.

Guys.... So this is gonna take a little getting used too... I loved Aang but this is great too just different. So far I am really into it but i do miss ATLA. Just gotta view it as a new story. Lets se how this adventure goes! Thanks for joining us. - Nahid

Fun little trivia: "Tenzin Gyatso" is the name of the Dalai Lama. "Tenzin" of course is a character in Legend of Korra, and "Monk Gyatso" was Aang's airbending mentor/guardian in ATLA.

You will like it more as this season progress, but the creators of this show wasn't given the same privileges as they had with ATLA. They were told they had one season so this first season is like a mini-series. Trust in the comments that it will get better and interesting!

the animation is is upgraded and they have payed attention to the martial arts of the nations aswell as bringing in new fighting styles !!!!

Yeah I would appreaciate two episodes a week too because I dont see the point of paying 10$ (12€ for me) for 4 episodes a month tbh. I dont watch the other reactions and instead of starting new shows they should increase to 2 LoK episodes a week. With just one episode a week it will take us exactly one year to reach the finale episode which is just way to long imo (and expensive too). I dont think I will continue my subscription for too long, it‘s just not worth it for me. But I still love your reactions and you are great people but please consider this.

I love you guys!! Also don't forget, the same two creators of ATLA are the same creators doing LOK, actually they brought back a lot of their crew for this show. Not all of them of course, there are different directors and such. But yea I love that. I have a feeling you're gonna love this show.

Also, Nickelodeon was under new management than before with ATLA and dicked the team and LOK around a lot during the development of the show.

I am stoked to watch this with y'all, I loved the core themes of this series. I think Korra uses the elements so intuitively because Aang was forced to master them before most avatars are called to start training (or are even aware that they are their generation's avatar). Water is the element of healing and she is kind of the embodiment of all that needed to be healed in Aang, like a mirror image. And the Air Babies!!!! I am interested to see if fresh eyes can ease some of the spots in this series that didn't quite stick the landing for me. I can't wait to watch you experience the multitude of moments that did stick the landing 💚
