Hey guys!  We just got done wrapping up our last anime, One Punch Man.  We are moving onto the next one!  We need your help in deciding the next anime we will watch.  Also not all the choices in this poll are Japanese Animes but they are all animated.  We have listed a few below a lot of you have shown interest in us watching and some we have had interest in watching as well.  Voting will continue on until the end of this week.  


NOTE: This show will NOT be replacing Avatar but it is replacing One Punch Man slot for anime vault.

Code Geass should be on this list. Three reasons. One it’s just fucking good so yeah. Two it’s only 50 episodes so you won’t be watching forever and it’s already completed. Three, and I think most importantly, none of the big reaction channels are watching it so I think you’ll bring in a lot of views. That show is crazy popular. I voted for Naruto otherwise...My Hero is going to win though because it’s popular right now.

My first choice would be Death Note and then FMA:B. Death Note is shorter than FMA:B so won't take too much time.

Cowboy Bebop is life, but current anime fans are too young to even know what that is so I see either Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood winning or Death Note (tho if this one wins I hope you troll them with the Netflix live action series)

i get the hype behind such shows, but i would love to see a reaction to the show “bojack horseman”. it is truly one of the best shows around at the moment, especially in the way it seamlessly combines tragedy and comedy. it’s a great one to check out ;).

PS

Which ever show wins can you fill the panel with reactors who haven't seen the series, like with Avatar. The reactions and discussions were so much more interesting than on Attack on Titan.

Like some have said already, best choice would be to start with Death Note, then FMA: B. Death Note is shorter.

Death Note is the kind of anime that requires focus to really get everything thats going on (especially if you're watching the Subs) so a smaller group is advisable

Naruto is a very long show so of course there are going to be some flaws but overall (if you skip the filler) it’s an amazing show. Watching the characters interact and grow- literally and figuratively -was incredible.

You're right, why is Legend of Korra not here? It makes sense after Avatar. People who've only watched Avatar think it might not be good because people might say it's not as good as Avatar, but that's on Avatar, not Korra.

IMO, Naruto is not worth watching, and Tokyo Ghoul is mediocre at best. FMA:B and Death note are the top obvious choices and top contenders, but both are quite long, so it would take over 9 months to finish Death note at one episode per week, and just under one and a half years till you're caught up on FMA:B. Just things for people to consider compared to watching a shorter anime like Cowboy Bebop or My Hero, both of which would only take about 6-7 months. Also, I assume The Legend of Korra is not included here because they are already planning on watching it after they finish posting Avatar.

Guys this is replacing the anime spot, so One Punch. Avatar had it's own spot. not to mention they talk about korra in the last ep of avatar so i'm pretty sure it's coming in twoish weeks

Since I️ can only vote once u chose Death Note because it’s such an intricate show with no filler and not too many episodes look the other options on here. My second vote would have gone to Gravity Falls because it’s SUCH A GOOD SHOW. Aka “Not a kids show”

i think you should watch most of theese in long term. Death Note and Full Metal Alchemist is neccesary but Nartuo and Naruto Shippuden is a must. give it a shot and youll gain thousands of fans.

Personally I think Death Note is great in concept but it's not worth watching a second time, the monologues are DREADFUL, the pacing is awful, and the dialogue is freaking corny, everything else about it is amazing though.

You guys need to check out Case Closed or Detective Conan, which is the sub version of case closed. At least watch the first episode on your own time and I think you'll enjoy it. If you're into mysteries than you'll love this anime.

HxH is my favorite anime of all time. It is just too long for me to want anyone to react to it. Also, some people just can't handle it.

I strongly recommend watching Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in the dub. There are some shows (Attack on TItan) where the dub is vastly inferior to the sub, but those two shows have top notch acting and I think it would help you not miss some important details.

FMAB or RWBY. I don't think Death Note is as enticing to me as either of those two. RWBY is amazing and FMAB was my first anime.

FMA:B will take you through a similar journey as avatar, just a little darker! Thats why I always recommend this amazing Anime(FMA:B). Death note is top 3 anime of all time for me with FMA:B being number one so I can't even be mad if it's picked, it's so good. After watching your finale reaction for Avatar and seeing you all tear up,I can't wait for you all to tear up again in FMA:B!

Our intention wasn't to pit votes against Death Note but as others have pointed out, most of us who would have been available to watch the show have already seen it. So either we have them join and not say anything , wait until people are free to watch or only have few reactors. However, if Death Note still won after this then obviously we would have watched it, it just would have been either delayed to get fresh eyes or have very small group. Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware. - Navi

I would have loved to suggest Gintama and One Piece, but I can sympathise with the long-running shows and how hard it is to react to them. In that hindsight, I'll just vote for Naruto, even though I don't like it. Maybe if that goes well, we can move on to longer and more established shows :)

No, if they watch FMAB they should watch everything even filler/recap episodes, just like they did with Avatar and “The Great Divide” for example. Also, although episode one of FMAB is technically filler (manga-wise) they reference to it a few times in the Anime, enough to make it “canon” at least for the anime.

The only time that I remember that ep.1 is referenced later in the show is literally 2-3 seconds - and it's not even a necessary flashback. I would actually go so far as to say that ep.1 is a semi-spoiler in some ways. Characters are introduced out of nowhere, getting almost no screen-time. It is so obviously tacked-on that I just don't understand why it's there at all. The people who watch Brotherhood are already fans, or want to try something new. Does ep.1 exist just to entice people to watch it? If so it's the absolute worst way of doing so imo. I get triggered just thinking about the piece-of-shit, 100% garbage episode. There is no reason why it should exist, it is an abomination. The day it was released was one of the worst for Mankind. It should burn and go to hell, and take the writers of the naruto- and Bleach-fillers with it. THE SALT IS REAL.
