What I love about this recap episode was how creative it was. Bryke (Bryan and Mike) have stated before that they hate generic recap episodes, most especially clip shows, so I love how the writing staff took what could've been a typical recap episode and twisted it around. They even took this opportunity to address a lot of fan complaints by making fun of their own work, which is honestly hard for any writer to do so major props! Anyways, final 4 episode hype!! God, I wonder how you'll edit all of that lol.

One of the meta/self aware jokes I think was at the end regarding the movie. They walked out of the theatre calling the play horrible, garbage, and such, and at the end Sokka goes "But the effects were decent". Also, you guys seemed to miss when they mention the writers of this play at the start. They even credit the cabbage guy who surprisingly knew a lot. Also also, the voice over at the end says season ONE episode 17. Not sure if you think it's important enough to change.

So I know these things take a while to edit and polish in order to get it under the playtime and not get strikes, hence the finale being split. Is there any reason why you don't just drop them unedited w/o commentary at once vault-style for all the people who have been waiting? I for one will still come back to hear the discussion on the edited episodes. It feels like a bummer to have it spread out for a month. Even the show didn't do that to the audience. Love what you guys do and thanks!

Actually, the whole thing was a poke at how in "The Firebending Masters" they accidentally put Zuko's scar on the wrong side in the scene when the dragons breath their fire.

The only flaw of the scene where Aang and Zuko are surrounded by the dragon flames in their episode, is Zuko's scar being on the wrong side.

I can't believe that you guys missed that it was "A surprisingly knowledgeable cabbage merchant..." who helped inform the playwright. That's one of the best jokes/punchlines in the episode imo xD. LOOOOVED watching y'all react to this though -- especially the Jet bit. lololol. I was cheesing so hard when that part was coming up because I knew y'all would connect to it. Can't wait for the finale!

Yes please watch this. A little taste of how the fandom was during the shows air time. For me at least, I was 10-13 so I wasnt aware of any cons or trailers, I just watched the show after school and it blew my little mind.

I think it's pretty nifty that the plot twists, jokes and fan service still hold up even after a decade. Like, it was a little hard not to mention spoiler-y shit like when y'all kept asking if Jet really died 😂 I think it was HELLA important for the show to put a lesson in there for kids that a kiss is not always welcome, "Aang, I'm confused" is not consent. Being afraid of being called a bitch keeps women from outright saying "no" sometimes. Fourteen year old girls need to know how to be clear when they don't consent to intimate interaction and twelve year old boys need to learn how to ask for permission. Like, yesterday, cuz we're still dealing with grown ups who don't know how to do either. I really can't wait to watch y'all dive into the finale! I felt like my heart burst open when I first saw it, I am grateful I get to relive it thru you

If they dont straighten this out soon, i guarantee i won't be a patron anymore. Im not demanding anything from them other than clarity. Why is this even a thing? Everyone on here has made it abundantly clear how important the SERIES finale is. Spreading it out over 4 weeks for no other reason than to add another month of pay is a slap in the face to everyone who's been paying for avatar solely. (Yes, that is a perfectly acceptable reason to pledge money to someone) I just want this straightened out. This is a once in a lifetime thing, we deserve at the very least 2 episodes a week.

I needed this today, thank you for the funny reaction! I knew this episode would strike a chord with you all because it's basically an Avatar skit within an episode. I loved how they poked fun at themselves too. The Avatar team really interacted a lot with the fandom while the show aired, so they were aware of a lot of complaints (like some people hated The Drill episode because they thought it was boring, I don't but that's why they showed the audience yawning) while the episode was a mix of a clip show and recap, it was also a bit of a love letter to the fandom. So here we are at the end. The next four episodes are brilliant and I look forward to your reactions! But it isn't really over yet. Trust me. :) Will you be doing an after show discussion to talk about the whole series with all the Normies? I hope so! I would love to see everyone geeking out together now that you'll all be on the same page.

Yes it has very little of what made ATLA amazing, the characters in Korra are awful, there is little adventure, and they break few of the bending rules.

Korra is an awesome show that is a good continuation of Avatar, and it isnt a different genre at all. All of the differences make perfect sense, and all of the flaws are because of Nick screwing with the creators
