I speculate that when Ymir says that she stole the powers of the titans from their friend, she turned back into a human because she ate someone who could turn into a titan and revert back.

I'm confused about ymir's intentions. In E10 she says that she selfishly wants Historia because she's the only one who looks at her with love. Then this episode, Ymir says she has a fear of dying and kidnapping Historia would protect her. Then the Sasha, Conny, Historia meetup at the end made me think is this all a ruse? Are her intentions noble and she is planning to do something good for humanity by going with Reinbolt?

Guys Ymir's story was true, remember in the last episode she was like "after I'm eatne by one of your warriors?!" What the lie was that she was just using Historia as a mean to save herself. That was the lie. She was trying to get Historia to join her because she believes walls have no future. But in the end she let Mikasa take Eren and was running to safety with Sasha and Connie.
