BLEACH #SUNDAYRUNDOWN As the saying goes, Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Ichigo is clearly struggling with the weight of his mask, honestly I'm surprised he can still use it. That's a lot of psychological damage to unpack, and as Ichigo said himself, he's running on fumes atp in his bankai state, in spite of Orihime's best efforts. I do appreciate that there's an actual recovery time for him now. So far he's fought Grimmjow, Nnoitra and Ulquiorra almost simultaneously, and then had to unsuccessfully throw down against Yammy. As Unohana mentioned, Ichigo is really the only one who hasn't seen Aizen's shikai, making him integral to their chances of winning. Which I quite like, Ichigo doesn't need to necessarily be the strongest, he is simply the best qualified for the job. Oh and yeah, Unohana is scary AF, and Ichigo found out the hard way. In the turn the pendulum arc, it was stated by Shunsui to Ukitake that she's even more senior than them, and they pissed themselves when they thought she overheard. Which says a lot about her age and strength, considering they're Yamamoto's students.

#SundayRundown #BLEACH I guessed you missed the times I tried to tell y'all about the special episodes, so here goes again. Episode 287 (the magic lamp episode) is NOT a random filler. It's a special episode, written by Kubo, to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the manga. There are several other episodes coming up that are similar. EPISODE 298: Soul Society film festival, in preparation for Hellverse movie. EPISODE 299: The lead-in to the Hellverse movie. Watch this before the movie. EPISODE 303: New Years Special with wholesome Orihime plot. EPISODE 304: Halloween Special and 10-year anniversary celebration of the anime. BONUS- EPISODE 305: Fan-service episode Kubo wrote for Hisagi/Rangiku shippers. EPISODE 308: Canon episode, but you should make sure to react to the after-credits scene, so you're not confused about where Kon is. All these (plus that beach episode) would make for great reactions, and I highly recommend them. 👍🏽

#SUNDAYRUNDOWN BLEACH, I can see why you guys would think ichigo would take out Yammy but you have to remember bleach’s shonen formula. Each new power up is only good for one boss fight, he can’t take out the next boss till he gets a new power up. The last power up he got was for ulquiorra, if he wanted to beat yammy he needed a new power up but obviously they wouldn’t waste that on yammy here when Aizen is still left to fight.

Kenpachi's VA changed. I'm sure if Suraj was in the reaction he would've noticed it right away lol. He's now voiced by Patrick Seitz who also voices Ichigo's dad, Uvogin from HxH, Endeavor from MHA, etc. Jiraiya's voice actor (David Lodge) was a way better voice for him imo. Remember when Byakuya and Kenpachi almost fought episode 20 and Gin grabbed Kenpachi and took him away? Seems like they always had this underlying beef lol they even fought eachother in a filler arc (Zanpakuto Rebellion).

Ichigo is incredibly shaken up after his fight with Ulquiora where he lost control and killed an actual person for the first time. He is not fighting at full power here.
