#SundayRundown Robby has every right to not like/accept Johnny, so far in this series Johnny has made no genuine attempts to be in Robby’s life. The man shows up to Robby every 3 months and basically says “Hey let’s try and hang out” and when Robby justifiably tells Johnny to “eat shit” Johnny basically goes “well I tried” then throws himself a pity party and doesn’t reach out to his son again until another 3 months have passed. As someone who also grew up with an absentee Father and only just now started rebuilding that relationship and I’m in my late 20s, I find myself really disliking how the show has handled Johnny and his relationship with Robby. To me Johnny can’t fully redeem himself until he man’s up and becomes an actual father to his actual son, who he abandoned.
