HBO slot replacement suggestion: The Sopranos. One of the two greatest shows of all time (usually trade places with The Wire for #1 and #2 on lists and publications). And also massively changed TV, particularly post-2000 to our modern era. It’s a very important show if you’re into the history of TV and writing conventions. Also most importantly, like Succession, it has a heavy blend of comedy and drama so it’s a good spiritual successor to the slot.

been really loving chris’ interpretation of shiv’s character and yeah i agree that telling tom she wanted an open marriage right after the wedding was shitty but apart from that he knew who he was marrying, shiv didn’t suddenly change into a selfish piece of shit, she has always been that and tom takes it because he wants the power and he wants to be close to that kind of influence, he IS a social climber and a gold digger and like logan mentioned in season 1 during the family therapy episode, shiv had her own selfish reasons for marrying someone like tom. they have both used and continue to use each other in different ways and despite all of that, i think they both do love each other but with shiv, like kendall said earlier in the episode, “it’s just the wrong kind of love expression.” anyway can’t wait for season 3, definitely my favorite out of the 4.

idk man. I'm ten toes down for Wambsgans always and forever irdgaf. Also wow, the way seasons three and four are gonna hit? Cannot wait. I also really appreciate the character of Kendall a lot more than I did when I first watched the show. Jeremy Strong is a mind blowing performer. He is really something. Also, everyone on the couch rags on Connor (which I am still so lost about) but dude if i'm any of the Roy kids, I'm Connor. Doing my weird hobbies, vibing with my hand out like Mona Lisa. "MONEY PLEEEEASE" They can have that stressful shit.
