Pay for the year rather than per month? (Patreon)

Patreon keeps sending me messages saying I should offer the ability for you good people to pay for the year rather than the month - so you can choose to do either, its not one or the other? Anyone interested in that?

It seems way less flexible to me, but that said, I also like to pay stuff ahead. But I don't know?
