I agree with the "Universe Learing About Itself" concept. All the other ideas seem a bit...cosmically wasteful? I actually read some books by the guy who created "Dilbert" that really got me into that idea. Look for "God's Debris"..

That's Scott Adams, right? Didn't blow up recently by coming out and having all these strong opinions on p[olitics and stuff? I sorta half follow him on twitter but I see more people giving out about him than anything else. Must look into him more.
