On the topic of guests, I feel like you do run the risk of disturbing the chemistry that makes this particular group so fun to watch. And I think having it be an interview does that even more. But that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily bad to have guests once in a while. Sometime you strike gold and get some great content. Best case scenario is having a guest like Jerry O’Connell

My ideal answer to this question is that “we have Cool Friends” comes back now to the Spare Bedroom, without a commitment for a regular cadence. That way we all have a better idea of what to expect from each. That being impossible, I don’t really mind the rare Guest appearance.

Personally, I'm always having guests come by and while I can understand overdoing it can be too much, I'd like to propose a compromise: One per month on KFP One per month on Gamescast One per month (or fill-ins as needed) on XCast/PSILY One per week on KFGD Of course one off special occasions like Kinda Funny Day there should be room for anyone who can come by be on stream, regardless of number, but for regularly scheduled podcasts, having someone drop in every so often while not being a weekly thing I feel keeps a majority of the core content on the core group, but allows an occasional appearance from industry friends. Also, again for me, it changes up the pace and dynamics every once in a while to provide something a little different every now and again and keeps things from being too formulaic. Lastly, bringing in guests opens up new topics/formats. Expanded reactions, Combined review/spoiler discussions, and other produced content provides a wider variety than what's currently offered with fresh perspectives and providing opportunities for more representation is never a bad thing. Thanks for reading if you do. Have a good one.

Love it when there are guests.

I know you can’t really guess the “flow” you guys will have with every guest but that flow is what makes or breaks it for me. I only want guests that feel like they are part of the show, I don’t like it when it feels like a guest is just doing a panel interview, that gets really old really fast and should be reserved for a secondary interview based piece of content like “we have cool friends”

No enjoy guests sometimes but when it’s frequent then the focus is too much just on the guest. I’d love it if there were a guest on like 10% of the KFP’s.

I feel like most of us are similar. Guests are cool every once in awhile ( I like the 10 percent idea). But I always prefer when said guest is just part of the normal show. NOT when the show is about the guest. They can plug whatever they want, but keep it short, and get to the kinda funny vibe

Just as a heads up. When this happens it’s usually 1. A mistake 2. Someone wanted something edited for whatever reason. And don’t expect it to be fixed 😂 just wait to watch it with the normies.

I quite enjoy when guests come on, but also love the energy of just the crew. I think the best way to do it is to have a seperate podcast for guests ideally. That goes for Kinda Funny Podcast as well as any others. Doesn't necessarily need to be a whole new thing with a new name. But it'd be nice to get an extra PS I love you or gamescast with guests as opposed to it happening on the regular one. But I understand that y'all only have limited time as it is so I prefer having guests on when you can get them than to never have them on at all. I've never felt like the amount of guests was overwhelming so really I say just keep it up. But yeah, having both is ideal, but it's not something I expect and appreciate everything we get already. Just my preference.

The best guest episodes are one where they aren't promoting anything, just there to hang witht the crew and have a laugh.
