I was still am very excited for their comeback. I was starved. However I was expecting a way more epic song with the title being ‘SLAY’. Visuals and the chore were definitely a slay.

Everglow are my ults! I'm with you on the vibes you had for both first and second listen. The pros were the intro, raps, bridge, choreo, visuals. The music itself wasn't bad in any way on it's own. But it lacked that punch Everglow have always had for me on title tracks... Still like it tho. Lyrics were the biggest let down, as they felt pretty weak, and they forgot to include a self-reference which they're so good at! It's a new group of people writing the songs and while it's still very Everglow, it lacked a little. I'd probably put it 2nd lowest of their title tracks. A high bar they set tho, and I still say they never miss. Biggest plus for me was that the B-sides were really good. E:U who helped write La Di Da wrote most of Oh Ma Ma God and it's tight, while Make Me Feel is just a beautiful groove. Everglow B sides are always way lighter than their title tracks, but I got Red Velvet vibes and that's no bad thing. Still Everglow is my ult group (Craxy be creeping) and Aisha my forever ult. Can't wait for more :)
