News: Soft Pause, part 2 (Patreon)

If you remember that post, I promised not to charge Patreon Supporters (You) at the end of this month, so I could take some rest and draw some stuff for myself. This means, I'll pause Patreon during the payment cycle, which starts tomorrow until July 2-3.

I'm not sure if the posts will be available during that time, but worst case scenario, it should be only a couple days and you still should get this email to know what's going on. You can also find me on twitter during that time.

To be honest, I really enjoyed this break, since it allowed me to draw some current topics of the moment, which I don't get the time to do on the tight Patreon rewards schedule. I was supposed to rest my hands this month, but there was a lot of stuff I wanted to draw for a while, and I felt like I wouldn't get the chance to do it once July arrives and schedule returns to normal. I took the chance to play around with more alternative versions for drawings too (like booboom/thicc versions), worksafe versions (useful for the new patreon policies), and backgrounds, which I hope you enjoyed. I think these things add a nice extra value to the artwork!

 I also realized that I don't really use much other social media outside Patreon or Discord, which is Patreon-only as well. It's hard to get new fans to join and support Patreon if I'm not participating outside, like with the topical drawings mentioned earlier. This soft-paused month, I managed to be a little more active on twitter for example, and I feel like I got a lot of new Patreon backers (Hello! thanks a lot for joining!!), which is super cool. 

This makes things a little complicated, because I enjoy doing Patreon polls/ rewards, YCH Auctions, and drawings for myself, but there's definitely not enough time on the month to fulfill all three of those. I also need to save some time for my family, health and other non-art projects.

I'll see what I can do about that after the pause (meaning next week), but it's likely that I will try to avoid rushing myself to fulfill everything in just 30 days, and rather try and get goals whenever it's possible. More than anything, I'm interested on being more active on social media and drawing topical stuff for fun and exposure, and because it's a cool challenge to try to be the fastest on doing rule34 of new stuff! :D

Anyway, that's all for this month! There's still some auctions I need to do, and there's a couple girls from one of this season's Anime I really want to draw, and there's next' month new powerups (but that's a secret!), and there's also some other things I want to do... but hey, that's all gonna be for July!  see you there :)
