26. How To Make Gold, Bankers (Patreon)

Next, transfer at least 500 gold to your banker character. Make sure to equip yourself with four 20-30 slot bags to store all your items.

If you're playing a max level character, it's important to clear out your bags and bank as much as possible. Use addons to help you organize your bags and make mental notes of your organization process. If you don't have much gold, consider transferring some from another character. However, it's not recommended to use your main character as a banker if you're a hardcore raider or PvPer. Save that for your casual characters.

As an optional step, you can also purchase a guild bank using gold. This is a great way to store materials and other items for later use. A 7 slot guild bank will typically cost between 10,000 and 20,000 gold, and an 8 slot can go for around 40,000 gold. Keep in mind that it's usually not worth it to purchase an 8 slot, as the cost is too high. Even a 6 slot guild bank can be helpful. You can find sellers in trade chat, and sometimes they will even sell the guild bank with items still inside! Just be sure to go through all the necessary precautions and check out the bank before making a purchase to avoid getting ripped off.
