Hello, best beloveds!

An on time Audiography! The beginning of summer (sort of)! Last year we did Songs of Summers Past and this year. . .this year is different.

So roll the windows or top down, crank the music, slide on your coolest pair of sunglasses, and floor it - we are driving into the dystopia in style!

Eternal Rules Reminder:

-Three songs

-If it's not on Spotify, provide a link where it can be found

-Any genre, era, artist, style, etc. "Song" can also be loosely interpreted, I have no issue with spoken-word, for example.

-Though we do try to avoid promoting terrible people, everyone understands that sometimes you just love a thing and didn't know the artist was a suppurating dicktoad when we fell in love, and now we're stuck with the beautiful association and don't want to let the dicktoads win. That's fine, just keep it on this side of Butthole Jams: The Bin-Dweller's Collection. Or at least explain why it should come out of the bin!

-If you're wondering if a song you want to include "counts," the answer is always yes.

Don't forget, you can always come and discuss this or any other post, or just hang out, on the Discord server, where we seriously have not had one mean word in the months it's existed, and all the good parts of the internet exist without the bad. I love you guys so much.

Finally, La ira de Gaia by Mägo de Oz, which from its initial scream to its poetic lyrics (letras, para aquellos que sepan!) basically reflects how I feel living in this hellscape calles the US of A. https://open.spotify.com/track/6nVPIhbNp3XzGnZkiE02Ne?si=STmMKcDnR-2J6Nir9Vl94w&utm_source=copy-link
