Thank you, everyone. Thank you for sticking with me, thank you for reading, thank you for commenting, thank you for the community. Thank you for supporting us, for making my family possible, for making it feasible for me to have a child, for being there when I needed you. I'll never be able to thank you fully, not ever. None of you can know how much you've helped, how much you've affected my life. I owe you guys forever and a day. Thank you so much. I hope I have been able to give back some small amount of what you've given me, and I hope I can continue to do it. I keep saying it, but gratitude is a wholly insufficient word.

But I want to thank you in a more tangible way!

True to your poll choice, I am uploading a free PDF of The Descent of Inanna, an epic poem I wrote...er...14 years ago for something that no longer exists called the Blogathon, in which I and others updated our blog once every thirty minutes for 24 hours to raise money for charity. In 2005, I wrote this in those 24 hours. (This month's essay should give you a little insight into that!) I've also uploaded the audiobook I recorded for it, though they are individual mp3 files. It was published in a beautiful and extremely limited edition volume and is no longer available anywhere but here.

As a bonus, I've also uploaded The Ice Puzzle, a little novella I wrote EVEN EARLIER than Inanna, in late 2004, just after The Labyrinth was published. It represents some of my earliest fiction, and is likewise difficult to find. But for you guys, anything. Even juvenalia of dubious quality.

I hope you enjoy these ancient tomes, and know that I am thankful for you beyond any of these words, or any others.

Yay! Two years! And SO MUCH HAPPENED! Babies! Books! Essays and recipes! It's been fun! I'm looking forward to the next two! And ten!

Thank you for Inanna! It's been so many years since I last read it. <3
