Hello there Patrons! And apologies for the flood of notifications, I had no idea that would happen until, you know, it happened.

Ahem.

So it has been over a year here on Patreon.

A year of experiments and recipes and photos and giveaways and Laboratory hi-jinx. Books have launched, beloved pets have departed forever - gone but not forgotten - the seasons have done their thing, tulips have bloomed, snow has fallen (so much snow) and the world beyond our little Island has continued on in its sometimes alarming, sometimes reassuring, and always incredible way.

It has been a year of incredible life sustaining support from all of you. This is not a euphemism. Without you, life here would have fallen apart long ago. You keep us going, you put food in our mouths, you keep body and soul together. It was never a joke to say that you keep the lights on. It has been a hard year, in ways I've spoken about and not spoken about, but without your support, there is no year at all.

There aren't enough thanks here in the Lab's third draft-wormhole to go around.

As a small gesture though, we are going to open up all of the Mad Fiction content (posts only, not the other rewards) to All Patrons no matter their financial contribution until the end of the month.

(All of you Patrons at the $5 and above level, thank you SO much for your patronage and we hope you don't mind -briefly - sharing your rewards so everyone at the Laboratory Picnic can meet Ovidius The Bio-Luminescent Helper Rat and try a bit of the Cranberry Compote before its back to business as usual next month....)

So thank you Patrons! And if you are so inclined have a dig back through the vault, click a keyword or two and have a look at some of the things we've been up to. There are a dozen Denizens lovingly rendered, just as many recipes from the ALLCAPS Cookbook, and of course the Experiments themselves to peruse through.

Enjoy! And again. Thanks.

Thank you very much for doing this! It definitely got me to raise my pledge; hopefully it will for lots of others as well. I look forward to seeing you at Confluence. Tip: catch as many concerts as you can; they'll rock you in ways even geologists don't know. ;) --filkferengi
