Hound design thoughts (Patreon)

Now that I'm working on the Houndmaster I started thinking about the design for the dog. Experimented a bit and landed on the one on the right here, a more anthro design.

Personally I like it a lot more than the old one, it just feels better and more appropriate, but I wanted to see what you guys think about it. I would feel a bit bad changing it to this extent at this point without running it by you guys, considering you voted for it and all.

Let me know what you think! If there are no major complaints I'm planning on going with the new design on the right.

I think it's way more appropriate. As it was, I felt it was a bit jarring that the hound was basically just a regular girl with some fluff on her limbs. But fully anthro, it's more fitting imo

I believe you've made the right choice with this design, it does seems more appropriate.

I most certainly prefer the right one, because right is right and left is wrong. Jokes aside, either decision you make will probably work out, but I will say that the right option will probably give the furry portion (a seemingly fairly large portion at that) of your patrons something to chew on until the Abunnynation get's made.

The right feels more fitting, as a monster-girl style thing, rather than just a human with dog limbs, even though I wasn't really for Houndmaster, I'm more comfortable with the fully anthro design! All else fails, perhaps you can keep both, depending on the skin selected? That'd probably please everyone if anyone ends up majorly disliking one or the other.

In order to preserve the atmosphere unique to the Darkest Dungeon, the choice on the right seems appropriate. The image on the left looks like a trained slave, not an animal that helps the owner.

I think both designs are good I was getting used to the original but if it's one or the other I'd have to go with the anthro

The original one has grown on me after so long. I do see a lot of others prefer the new design though... so maybe have atleast one alt skin have the original? I know it might be asking for much, so if it’s too much trouble to do so, then I’ll go along with the new design..

Part of the reason I voted Houndmaster was because I really liked the design of the dog girl. So for me it'd be a bit of a bummer if you changed the design now. Seeing as the majority so far seems to like the new design better, I'd love to see an option for both, but I'd understand if that's too much to ask.

I'm cool with the more furry design, but I personally don't like how innocent she looks. She's a hound that's being commanded to bite and tear the flesh off her foes. Make her look more angry and menacing!

Both are nice; I recommend adding multiple breasts, decreasing in size for the full fur version.

Dropping my two pennies here, even if I rarely play HM, gonna go with the one on the left. It has that original aesthetic to it.

Both are good why not go with the one on the right and make just one skin for the one on the left

Honestly I prefer the one on the left. I like the more human than dog in it, like seeing a girl wearing animal ears compared to furry girl

I feel like the fully-furred version creates a greater contrast between it and the houndmaster herself, seperating the two in a positive manner. Also not as much into the braindead slave-vibe the original human design gives off tbh, the dog being of an actual different species kind of fixes that. Sincerely hope you go with the version on the right for this one.
