SO

I had an interview yesterday, with a company that headhunts human interest stories. They thought my story and what I have to say was interesting, and they'll be scoping out companies to see if they can find someone who wants to do something with that.

ALSO  One of the people from that company has connections in the UK film scene, where there is a desire for more queer rep, both in the writer's room and in casting. While they can't speak to the quality of my work (I was there more as an entrepreneur trans person than as an author) they did tell me that, if I turned one of my novels into a screenplay, they could get it into the right hands.

So um.  I'm putting my personal projects on hold for now (Commissions will obviously keep going) and I'm gonna turn We're Not Here (I think that one translates best to the screen without requiring a lot of CGI) into a screenplay :O

I'm not gonna hedge all my bets on this, but it would be very cool if this became a thing :3

Have my first attempt at the opening scenes.

Maybe it's a secret unlock for a new main story line? :D
