■Software Purpose and Overview

Have you ever thought about creating a LOOK or scene in VaM?
Or perhaps you have thought about creating paid content if you could.
In this case, there is a big barrier: licensing. Many people give up because of this.
Many people have recklessly ignored the license, been banned, and scattered without knowing why. There are also many people who know what they are doing but have given up because of the hassle. This tool is a positive tool that we hope will support such people and increase the content of VaM.

■Operating Specifications

It works simply, here is a description. This tool creates a batch file (executable file) that organizes the var files directly under the AddonPackages folder of VaM by license. Organizing means that it recognizes and creates 7 types of folders and generates a batch file to move var files to each of them.
The 7 types of folders are as follows
  • Folder named creator's name (created by user himself/herself)
  • OrganizeEA
  • OrganizeNC
  • OrganizePC
  • OrganizeQuestionable
  • OrganizeIncludeOther
  • OrganizeNoInfo(AnalyzeError)
As you can see, a batch is created that moves the license matches to that location. The priority is in this listing order. The last two are hard to understand, but they are also licenses that do not match the ones above and refer to material based on EA/NC/PC/OrganizeQuestionable licenses and those that have loading errors.

■For beginners 1 (before using the tool)

Is there a folder under the AddonPackages folder in VaM?
Review that first. Folders under this folder are not covered by this organizing tool. If you are not sure if this will be a problem, throw it away or put the var files directly under the AddonPackages folder once. Do not leave empty folders either. Delete them once.

■How to use

  • Launch VaM (restart is recommended if it is running).
  • Load the "varFileOrganizer" plugin as a session plugin or object plugin.
  • Click on the "Organize" button of the plugin.
  • Do you see the name of the executable file in the right column? That file is the executable file.
  • It should be under the folder "Saves\PluginData\NemechVarFileOrganizer".
  • The file name is "varFileOrganize_YYYYYMMMDDHHMMSS.bat", do not run it yet.
  • Stop VaM. If you do not stop it, some files may not be moved correctly.
  • Please read them before executing to make sure there are no problems.
  • By the way, even if you execute before stopping VaM, there is no problem if you reexecute after stopping.
*Now, right after execution! If you start VaM in this state, the material (var) environment has not changed.
This is the reason why I can only do up to support.
Specifically, move the folder containing the unused (unusable) var files to another location, then start VaM.
Probably the EA/NC/PC/OrganizeQuestionable/OrganizeNoInfo folder.

■For beginners 2

All EA/NC/PC/OrganizeQuestionable/OrganizeNoInfo folders must be moved from the AddonPackages folder in VaM.
I don't believe there are any folders that you have created yourself, but you should be able to make your own decisions in that area.
Perhaps this will give you a rough idea of the environment.

■A little more in-depth.1

That which you have the right to use personally, that which you use without including it in the package, and that which Some items the creator has already explicitly stated that you may use.
In addition, some NC content is available for commercial use if certain conditions expressed by the creator are met. Some are EA (Early Access) and after a certain period of time the license will change and become available for use at that time.
If you create your own folder under the AddonPackages folder in VaM and save it, it will not be a moving target in varFileOrganizer.
My paid version of momanLight can be used when creating artwork.
I am sorry to give specific names.
My understanding is that Hunting-Succubus.Enhanced_Eyes by Hunting-Succubus is available as paid content once certain conditions are met. After the conditions are met, they can be excluded from the varFileOrganizer move by creating a folder called "Available" for example and storing them there.
Also, although ky1001 is mostly NC content, most of the operating tools do not need to be included in the final content. To accommodate this, a folder named ky1001 can be created directly under AddonPackages so that they are not excluded.
It may also be possible to use a poor var file that is classified as OrganizeIncludeOther. If you can exclude the contents of references that you do not have the right to use, I think you can use it. Maybe if you delete the EA/NC/PC/OrganizeQuestionable, then load and save the file, it should remove the references I don't know if it will hold up to use.

good luck!

Oops I need to create a folder to isolate this plugin, too.

■Update Information

V1.1 2023/1/18

Fixed a bug that caused processing to stop if a corrupt var file was present.
Fixed a problem in which the move was not performed if the name of the file to be moved contained spaces . (Just that the move was not performed.)
