It's a Christmas miracle.

Japan is now finally open to the world!

The wait is over at last and you can explore all the ridiculous places we've visited over the last two years.

To celebrate the milestone, I'll be hosting a live show tonight revealing 25 places you need to see in Japan! It kicks off at 10pm (JST) and will likely run for 2 hours.

The third and final Patreon behind the scenes episode from Journey Across Japan is now here with outtakes, bloopers and deleted scenes from the episode - including why I cut out an entire challenge from the episode.

An incredible viewer actually re-edited the sword fight between Natsuki and Ryotaro turning it into an EPIC LIGHTSABER battle, which'll be out in a few days!

As well as that, the huge 750km cycle with Connor has finally made its way on to Abroad in Japan. It ended up being the second longest video I think we've ever produced!

And there will of course be a Patreon Behind the Scenes episode including 20+ minutes of deleted scenes and outtakes that we sadly had to cut down from the episode (as it was getting crazy long).

But in case you missed it folks, here's the full video over on Abroad in Japan.

Part of me still can't believe we actually pulled this off.

In the next few days I'm shooting a video with Ryotaro in a part of Japan I've ALWAYS wanted to visit but never had the chance until now. And before that, the video undertaking Japan's hardest race - the Spartan race - will be released in the next few days.

Until then guys, enjoy the Patreon Behind the Scenes episode of JAJ and I hope to see you tonight at the live show!

That was not the reason for axing the final challenge that I'd expected! I thought it would have been due to the pain from your eardrum, but this was something else 😆.

Thank you Chris for your dedication and hardwork. JAJ series was one of the reasons I was drawn to the channel, the high quality of the videos shows the huge amount of work done to produce them and you should be proud of what was achieved. We're looking forward to your new projects and wacky adventures. Good luck with the run and looking forward to the stream :)

Haha well we filmed the challenge before the eardrum incident! Honestly, we were kind of lucky that it only happened on the last day of the trip!

Even though this JAJ didn't go as planned and you ended up in a lot of pain...it was still a great series! Lots of cool and funny things. Like the Dr. Jelly ad! That one was really neat with the reverse jumping out of the pool. I'm sad I'll miss the live show, but that's 6 am my time...which is in three hours...I need to sleep lol. I'll have to watch it later!

I had to leave the stream and now it's not letting me back in it says it's private I really hate Patreon now

I cannot get into the stream and says it is private…am I doing something wrong to get back in?

I thought it was a patreon stream but it was tweeted and went to 1k viewers?! Delayed and then stopped after 5 mins, what's happening lol

Chris had to leave the stream too, but it looks like he'll be back with another stream soon.

Managed to get on. Looks like YouTube app was playing up. How to access the discord account?

I was genuinely terrified watching how close Natsuki got to the boat when you two were swung around. Glad your ear healed up okay and neither of you were permanently maimed from that

I do hope you do another one. That eardrum rupture looked brutal and I find it incredible that you kept trucking forward. Honestly, this series is just too good to give up. I know the videos don't do as well as the "15 reasons something something Japan" does, so I'd understand if you went a different way, but these types of videos are my favorite and I hope you continue to make them!

Your adventures bring joy to our day to day life! If you run out of places in Japan, your UK video shows it would be fun anywhere you go!
