Hi everyone!

I am really happy with the way this one came out. Hope you like it too!

I have a question for you all: as you can see, one of the variations is the interior spaces of all the buildings on this map, however, they are completely empty. The reason for that is that I don't have any suitable interior assets to furnish these houses. To make a full set of assets like this is basically a full release worth of work... so my question for you is: would you all be okay if I released a huge interior asset pack for one of my full, paid releases, so that I could use it in the future (and it would also of course be available to you as well)? I know you all expect phased battle maps from me, so I am not too sure whether an asset pack on its own would be received well at all. Please let me know!

And here's a quick reminder, just in case you wanted to use one of my phased battle maps on Roll20, and not sure how to: you can just go to the map layer, and put the phased maps, from last phase to first, on top of each other. Then when it is time to get to a new phase, you can simply right click the top layer and then click "Send to Back".

The free version of this map can be found at the bottom of this post.

I'd have to agree; a lot of folks are doing asset releases right now, so I have a bunch of assets and I never use them because I support people like you who make amazing maps! :)

Thank you! So is that a "no" on the assets? Even if they will help me make better interiors in the future? Appreciate your comment! Would love to know your further thoughts!

Me personally, it's a no; I support at this tier because your stuff is amazing and it's ready to use. Assets aren't valuable to me since I'd need the time to create my own maps with them. But maybe I'm misunderstanding; would new assets allow for new types of interior animations? Do you have ideas you want to implement that you could share?

dww

Oh sure! So my thought was that I could provide actually furnished interiors if there were some on the map. Currently, all of my interiors are empty - ships, houses etc. One of the variations for this release has an interior map, but it is all empty rooms, for example. So my thought was that I could create a large asset pack that I could use in the future for any interiors I come up with, and the Patrons would also have a perk of receiving said asset pack for their own purposes. It seems like folks are leaning towards a no though, which is totally fine. I might just be able to work on the assets in smaller chunks, instead of one big go and a full release.
