Pond Hut Flood Phased Battle Map [40x60] (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

The farm house on the pond is out now! Hope you like it!

If you need some guidance on how to use a map like this, I always encourage to have a primary encounter going on in the foreground of the battle, while the phases change at the top or bottom of the round in the background. The changing phases can be used as terrain obstacles, and so you could have the players do ability checks to decide on the outcome of the phase change challenges. For example, with this map, if the players are anywhere on the water's path, they could do checks to either stay on their feet, or not drown if they are already swept by the water.

And you can certainly use any of the phased maps as the primary encounters in and of themselves as well if you wish.

The free version of this release is attached at the very bottom of this post (both grid and no grid).
