Yes. One of my favorite movies. Its generally accepted the second movie is even better than the first, but I've only ever seen this one myself, so I'm also excited for the sequel. Great video as always guys.

Tai Lung is a snow leopard, which is an endangered big cat that lives in the mountains in (roughly) Central Asia. They're absolutely gorgeous and are really well known for those long tails they have and their crazy ability to maneuver and hunt on huge cliffs. That last part kind of explains why Tai Lung can pull off all of those crazy stunts, snow leopard agility is crazy.

Just had to google it and damn they're beautiful (even without the Kung Fu)

About a month back, I saw a YouTube short that talked about this movie. It mentioned how each member of the furious five represent some of the animal fighting styles, specifically the Five Elements. Quick sidenote: I did just google it to see if I should say "the styles" or "some of the styles" and I found something interesting. The lineup of Tiger, Mantis, Crane, Monkey, and Snake is just an alternate version. Another version of the Five Elements swaps out the Monkey and Mantis styles for the Leopard and Dragon styles. I also just read that Tai Lung's name means "Great Dragon." In the video however, the guy said that the Dragon Style is sometimes referred to as the Panda style. Also, Sifu is the Chinese equivalent to Sensei I believe.

Shifu means "master" so his name actually is "Master Master". funny thing he is a Red Panda, a kung fu Panda if you would... even tho Red Pandas are actually not related to Pandas at all, red pandas are more related to raccoons, weasels, and skunks and actual Pandas are... bears

This was literally the first movie I ever saw in theaters. And even the second movie I was young enough that my whole family saw it together. Coupled with the fact that I owned the first movie on dvd and that my family is Chinese, this movie really made my childhood. Still holds up to this day and I can't wait to see you guys react to the rest of the trilogy. Also, other people have already explained Shifu and Tai Lung's names. But Oogway (or at least, close enough sounding) means turtle in Chinese. So his name is very on the nose as well.
