Hype!! No, Heracles and Gilgamesh did not meet or anything in the legends. Gilgamesh is far older (The Epic of Gilgamesh is like the first legend ever) and from Mesopotamia, while Heracles is Greek. Gilgamesh probably just meant that Heracles vs. Gilgamesh would be a "battle of legend".
