It;s the god, you don't have to say it. I know. The dog is the girl, she's in there, I just know it. this show gets weirder by the minute.

Much better to continue knowing nothing. The journey is sublime. Glad you picked out the scene on the bridge. That is my favorite scene in the series. Though a few others come close.

$10k is an exciting amount, but not not a LOT. For context, in 2016 (when this show was released) in Seattle (where this show takes place), average rent was $2k/month. Todd owed his landlord $600 so he was paying well below average. Median income in the US was $40-$50k ($10k would constitute roughly 2-3 months earnings before taxes), although as a bellhop we can assume Todd was earning less than that. I assume medical expenses for Amanda would be require more than $10k, but the money would be helpful in the short term. For comparison, the Corvette Stingray Coupe that Dirk "borrows" retailed at an MSRP of around $80k. A $10k lottery winning is exciting, and an extremely helpful lifeline to Todd, but it wouldn't carry him past the very short term with his sister's medical expenses and no job. Both Todd and Dirk's reactions to that amount were valid.

Always happy to see a Dirk Gently reaction! Thanks!
