Awoke in the dead of night, my brain giving painfully conflicting commands to my muscles. So nice to have you to enjoy while my system sorts itself out. Nice timing. Sirens was a good show with a very exotic attractive lead who played a Siren. Teen Wolf had a Banshee in it. While Banshee is probably not one of them Pennsylvania is known for having some oddly named towns. Glad you enjoyed this as much as you seemed to. Even better through your eyes. We are going weird with my recommendation next month :)

Yeah, Banshee is graphic and brutal. Graphic violence and... maybe not exactly "graphic" sex, but it's not shy about showing nudity. Objectively it's good, I suppose, I just didn't like any character enough to really get invested. Any time I liked a character they killed her off pretty fast, it seemed. Hood is, objectively, compelling enough as an anti-hero, I suppose, and it's interesting to see Homelander in a show where he's much less terrible but I never really rooted for him; I needed a supporting character I could become invested in to keep me watching and the show never really gave me that. Looking it up, apparently it "only" lasted 4 seasons, and seems like only 38 episodes? So if it gets a full watch, that's not so bad. It's good enough to sustain that long. I remembered it being at least 4 seasons, but I guess I didn't realize/remember the seasons were that short. I was thinking I'd be a bit bummed out were it chosen because, while it's not bad, it's a lot of content to sustain for that long without liking anybody, without caring. But 38 isn't so bad. (Like... I really enjoyed Archer, it's very fun and funny, an easy watch... but goddamn I'm so done with that show. I feel like 8ish seasons were enough, I've gotten all I needed to get from it but it just. Keeps. Going. Which is why I really don't want, say, The Office or even 30 Rock or Parks and Rec to win. The latter 2 are good enough, but even those end up being too long, IMO. Parks and Rec maybe less so? But the entire first season is pretty rough, I think. The show doesn't figure out what it is until season 2.)
