I feel like I have a similar relationship with my dad that Britta has with her parents. He was awful during my whole time growing up, but the difference is in our personalities and I have a pretty good mom. I never took it too personally to my dad and by the time he got his crap together and was ready to be a parent, well after me and my sister were adults, I had already moved past it.

Yes, Paget Brewster played the IT Lady in season 5, it's not the same character, but there is a nod to that in an upcoming episode (four, I think). Also Keith David who plays Elroy was the narrator in the Pillows and Blankets documentary.

It occurs to me that in four or five weeks I won't get to watch your ever escalating joy in singing along with the theme song which always puts a smile in my soul . I'll have to just hold out for that movie .

I love Jim Rash as the dean and this was one of his iconic episodes! Britta being Britta but out of control with Annie and Abed taking care of her. Through season 6 you'll see how close Annie and Abed have gotten after years of living together and it's not like Annie's trying to replace Troy but have a different kind of closeness.
