100% agree. If Butcher had accepted the boy and shown him love he would not have been so easily persuaded by Homelander. But his mom died, Butcher just told him he hates him, and Homelander was not such a horrible father in the End of Season 2. So the boy obviously would go to the one Father that didn't tell him that he hates him for killing Becca. Also the worst thing Butcher could have done to Homelander is raise that boy with love so that he loves him more than Homelander. That would have really hurt him on a level nobody else ever could.
