The demons were a reference to Hellraiser movies and the joyride with Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Yeah, better than last week. It was OK. I think it was as good as a few other episodes, and it definitely cleared the low bar set last week. 😀 I liked seeing the car's personality again. I suppose I kind of liked exploration of the 'blank slate' of the new kid in school. "No credit is perfect credit!". The convoluted way the demons thought didn't really work for me as a concept.

Yeah, I have been far from impressed with this season thus far. (I think season 4 was also pretty lackluster save the finale.) I mean, the show was so great 1-3, the bar was set high... but I think it's definitively worse than the first few incredible seasons. Seems like you agree, you just don't want to be too much of a downer. Oh well. Hopefully it starts trending up moving forward.
