I'm glad you found the film funny at least. I was a bit worried about suggesting it as I agree that it's not a great movie but it's still fun to watch! It's built up a bit of a cult following. Those other movies stand up today because they *were* great movies. The bit where Madeline Kahn is saying how she hated Yvette "sooooooo much!", and then starts talking about "fl- flames, on the side of my face" and stumbling over her words while trying to fully express the intensity her hatred, that was her ad-libbing. That's actually quite a popular scene. 😀 By the way, three different versions of the film with the three different endings were shown in movie theaters! The idea was apparently that people were supposed to go to see the film multiple times to see the different endings, but it didn't work out that way, unfortunately for the box office takings. 🤣 All three endings were added to the home video version, with one of them designated as the 'definitive' ending.
