He was ardent in his disappointment of the US retaining slavery. Just as an FYI, the region has been occupied by humans for over a thousand years and to there's a huge military base, Fort Liberty (once Fort Bragg), nearby.

Also, it's absolutely amazing that so many 90s rockers were into aliens. Not only Delonge, but also Dave Grohl (look up where the foo fighters got their name), Screeching Weasel (I believe in UFOs) and RHCP (they made some good stuff on UFOs). It''s crazy how ubiquitous it all was!
