I am also confused... maybe we missed a memo, but... I do look forward to the side stories videos, so here's hoping the tier didn't change on us.

i like when they get stuff wrong, get called out and instead of correcting it they just say "You're here for the TRUTH and FACTS har har" For how much you guys bitch about MSM and how they talk about cases/victims maybe look in the mirror at some point.

Sounds like the plane hit a waterspout. That's terrifying

The polluted PFAS fish (and drinking water, and food, and household items, and rainwater) are real as hell. We better start paying attention to this shit soon. Already too late. It is in the blood of 98% of tested Americans and takes decades to degrade, if you have no continuous exposure on top of that, which is pretty much impossible

Harry

Henry you working for DuPont? 😂

As an older listener I can confirm acid rain, the ozone layer and AIDS were the three big boogeymen of the late '80s. All of which we dealt with. That being said the loss of biodiversity coupled with everyone basically ignoring the carbon crisis is alarming af.

Yeah, acid rain and the ozone layer were fixed by policy, but the carbon problem and hundreds of chemicals with long-term health effects have not been fixed with policy, barely anything has been done. Too much big business money hoarding at stake. People seem to think acid rain, the ozone destruction and the bird flu epidemic just got better on their own, but in fact changes were made behind the scenes that stopped them becoming catastrophes. Not so with this. I would argue also not so with AIDS, that is an ongoing catastrophe for millions of people.

ArmchairGravy

What was so scary about AIDS in the 80s was it's something everyone knew about, but no one in power was willing to constructively address as a problem.

I zoned out for a second and Henry was talking about fingering a corpse 😭 Never a dull moment.

Are the Side Stories videos supposed to be at the $10 tier now instead of $5? Did I miss a change to the rewards?
