I love your cult episodes. It’s made me realize over the years that my time in the Marine infantry was being in a cult. From Order of the Solar Temple to Aum Shinrikyo, the themes are always the same. Military (and infantry in particular) is just a state sanctioned cult.

I was Army infantry, and I, personally, envied the cult-like atmosphere our USMC counterparts seemed to foster.
