We're delving into the cases of two of the most famous "unsolved" murders of the 20th century: Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur. On our first episode, we're going to give a short history of gangsta rap in order to track the path that led to the deaths of two of the biggest musical icons of the nineties.

This is always been a topic I've been intrigued but didn't know much about. I am now fascinated about this. I went out and bought Original Gangstas right after listening to this episodes. Well done, gentlemen.

As a sociologist, I feel so grateful for the way you guys have addressed so many topics, but especially this one. Especially the way you addressed such a sensitive issue as the war on drugs in this country and mass incarceration. To give you an idea, I would not have changed a thing when creating a lecture for a class when I used to teach (I used to be a professor when I was in grad school). I know Marcus kind of has a dream to be a professor, and I wanted to let you know it is possible!! :). I got my BA in Sociology and a MA and when you have an MA you can teach college in New York State, but sometimes they let you teach if you just have experience in something, especially at like a community college!!! Anyway, I love you guys!!! You guys are so great!! So excited to see you guys in Buffalo in September!!
