Warpzone 3 preview: the opening (commented by Live Mike & Scripted Mike) (Patreon)

I didn't want to annoy everyone with a ping to a videoless post, but for those looking for it, you'll probably spot this message. I had hoped to get warpzone 3 out this week, but I've barely had any time to work on it. I had to prepare for and undertake a 26 hour travel with a sleepless night, which basically took me out for the next day as well to recover, followed by a bunch of time-pressured/time-sensitive matters to take care of shortly after arriving. Now though things are calming down again, and I've got this evening, half a day on friday and most of saturday to work on the series, so I'm fairly sure the completed warpzone 3 will pop up here on patreon somewhere around saturday afternoon/evening CET. For those watching the streams, if all goes well, I do plan to stream the next part of krastorio2 again on sunday dec 24 from earlyish morning to afternoon CET, hoping to make it to yellow tech cards.

Hello everyone!

During my last series, every friday I uploaded weekly progress to patreon whenever I could, even if the episode was not yet complete (making sure the uploaded portion was finalized though). For Warptorio, I decided against doing that, as half episodes/warpzones here seem to make a whole lot less sense than in a "normal" playthrough. However, this one is an exception, as it mostly resolves last episode's cliffhanger, so I won't keep you waiting another week ;)

Since the opening strategy is kinda similar to last warpzone's one, I wanted to produce the story a bit different here, so I went for a mix with live mike and scripted mike. I've inserted bits of live mike before, but in this episode he's playing the main role, with scripted mike filling in details here and there, and to illustrate the grand plan from a distance.

Let me know what you think about this editing style, I myself have mixed feelings about it so if you strongly like or dislike it that will influence my decision on how to record and edit the rest of the series.
