My most controversial opinion is that no one has ever made money off gambling longterm (with the possible exception of poker which is competition based rather than against the house). If this persons mom claimed to always win chances are she was selling drugs or something else and using gambling as cover to launder the money. That said, I recognize that being opposed to gambling on pragmatic or moral grounds is an essentially bourgeois mindset. Regardless, I am glad I have zero interest. I can lose all my money very easily all on my own, thanks
