Hello again, Patrons! It's time for the next episode of The Dark Tower, and in this one we get a little insight into what made Eddie Dean who he is. We learn how codependents are born, how much family fucks you up, and how difficult it is to turn your back on a master manipulator. We also learn that Eddie is worth more than he thinks he is, which is always a heartbreaking moment of realization. Guilt and self-loathing are the worst.

Also in this chapter, Roland actually begins to heal. At first he's so feverish and so frequently unconscious that he doesn't even realize that he's eating Lobstrosities. But then he starts to recover enough that he can tell Eddie where to go, and Eddie fashions this makeshift device to drag ROland on as they walk up the beach, very slowly, to wherever they're headed. Eddie doesn't have a clue, and Roland doesn't bother to tell him much.

So where do they end up? Why, in front of another door, of course! And this door isn't any different from the other in appearance, apparently, but written on it, rather than The Prisoner, is The Lady Of Shadows, which sounds like a pretty fun DnD character or Magic The Gathering card. So who's on the other side? And what's going to happen when Eddie forces his way through?

Thanks for listening, see you shortly with The Broad-Cast!
