Star Wars, Episode VI- Return Of The Jedi (Patreon)

Good morning, Patrons! Unfortunately, Owen and I were unable to record The Golden Compass yet this week because one of his employees quit and he's been having to fill in all week. :( But thankfully we were able to do the next Return Of The Jedi, so hopefully this little bonus will make it up to you. 

While I know that this movie is often considered the worst of the trilogy, I have to confess that in some ways it was my favorite. IN SOME WAYS, okay? Before anyone sends me hate mail. It's just that there are moments when it's so silly, and that can be a lot of fun...however that same silliness was something that became a problem, too. Especially with the Ewoks. 

And I will confess that Mark Hamill's acting was a major flaw for me. I don't know if the other movies just didn't have quite enough of him for me to see how bad an actor he was, but in this particular movie I found it very distracting. The dude playing the Emperor, thank goodness, was able to pick up a lot of the slack. If not for him those scenes might have fallen completely flat. 

I'm now looking forward to covering the terrible sequels, and I'm planning on doing a marathon over an upcoming weekend and talking about them all in one episode. I hope that you have been enjoying these bonus episodes! Thanks so much for pledging!
