Finally just wanted to update you all as well is I've changed the payment style to right away now. So there will be a lot less confusion on whether a new Patron is charged or not right away and wonder where is the google drive invite.

Just curious...how many patrons are printing this stuff up for anything other than Warhammer? I'm personally using it for Star Wars RPG and Legion.

I'm printing for Rifts Chaos Earth.

Did you remove the December files? I'm not sure if I downloaded it.

Would myminifactory help in this case? I am thinking of setting a third goal which is when reaching 60 patrons I will start offering my models through MMF as this seem to be the populate place. What do you think?

projectmobius

I was told some use them in dropzone commander, infinty the game and battletech (in general, not exactly this cyberpunk theme structure)

Andy Fundinger

MMF works, I also subscribe to Digital Taxidermy and they seem willing to host some other creators. There's at least two more I've gotten models through if you want to shop around. I can run through the pros and cons of the sides I've see if its helpful.

projectmobius

Speaking of which, it would be awesome to see your prints in your games :)

I have been printing the Fortress Gaia pack from Mobius' store for Infinity - its early days yet, but the Barracks is done at least! Just grabbed the Patreon for more options going forward. :)

projectmobius

hey Greg welcome and thank you for your support! Love to see your fortress when ready!

Just to check, how does the 2ndFloorB piece connect to 2ndFloorA and C? I haven't printed it yet but the clip points don't seem to line up from what I can see?

projectmobius

Hi Luke, thanks for pointing that out, I have since corrected and reuploaded the zip file containing the new 2ndFloorB piece now it should have the same clip points as the rest. My apologies for the mistake.

Luke W

No worries, I'm just planning my prints right now so it's really no issue, although I'll ask you to forgive me as I came up with a few more questions this morning. I was curious why the upper levels use a different clip layout to the 1st floor? Whereas the 1st floor walls uses the 3 clips in a row by 1 clip on the side, the 2nd floor walls and floors use 2 clips slightly closer together on the long side. I know I prefer the 3 clip points on the long side, but that's just because it works with the parts I got in the underwater base kickstarter. Is there a design reason for the different clip points on the second level? I can also see the 1st floor walls have a clip points on the top to go into the base of a 2nd floor wall, but it doesn't seem any of the 2nd floor walls have any clip points to make uses of those? Is there at least one 2nd floor wall that should have a corresponding clip point in the base? Again, apologies for all the questions.

projectmobius

No need to apologize you have every right to ask if you have questions / concerns. The reason the first floor uses different clip styles (the standard OpenLOCK tile) is because second floor and above I need something custom than the standard tiles (the walls in particular hence I also need to use custom floor for that). I left out the clip points on the top for 1st floor in case (in the future) I might use them for other add-ons. For now my vision is just stack each floors on top of each other for quicker game play so you don't need to spend time and effort trying to "unlock" each floor. Hope that helps!
