Hey guys!

Here is the latest Inner Circle release!

We've added the first iteration of the Chain Splicer's solo H scene to the game and gallery for Onyx, as well as the upgraded belly bulge to Onyx's scenes with Street Lord Wraxe.  Expect improvements to the new scene's animations, as well as more sound effects in the $5 release later this month!

Some other notable additions include the first version of Brum's loading screen, as well as new, snappier, and more dynamic hit FX.

We've also made a handful of fixes.  One you'll appreciate is that the Vioreaper no longer spams  stingers.  We still have to do another pass on his AI, but figured this was annoying enough to patch out now.

Changelog

  • Added Chain Splicer + Onyx H scene to the game and to the gallery.
  • New belly bulge for Onyx added to Street Lord Wraxe H scenes.
  • Onyx's belly piercing no longer gets absorbed into her when her stomach bulges >_>.
  • Added the first version of the new loading screen.

  • Wraxe can now summon Chain Splicers
  • Wraxe now summons more minions at once, but his summon skill has a longer cooldown.
  • Street Lord Wraxe should no longer get stuck in place when walking.

  • Onyx will no longer get a weird burst of speed when skidding to a stop after dashing.
  • Actor State Viewer (debug text above characters' heads) will no longer appear backwards in the Sewer map. 
  • Street Lord Wraxe now steps back properly after missing a grab instead of sliding across the ground
  • Removed stop-motion ("lag") from Wraxe's grab animation
  • Fixed glitchy liquid pooling on the Runt+Thug double team outro
  • Increased footstep volume

Known Issues

Here are the newest/most relevant known issues.

  • Liquid FX aren't finished for the new Chain Splicer H scene.  They should be in the release at the end of the month.
  • The Chain Splicer currently has no unique H attack animation.  His windup animation will receive new FX soon to distinguish between an H attack and regular attack.
  • New loading screen may have issues with 3:2 aspect ratio.  We're working on a fix.
  • Charger's hitbox shifts slightly after he charges.  If he charges repeatedly this shift can add up to be significant.  It will soon correct itself however.
  • Chain Splicer can immediately hit Onyx after an H scene if he had wound up to attack before the H scene began.
  • Kanji on the Chain Splicer's jacket is backwards when he faces left (will be fixed in next update).
  • Street Lord Wraxe can dash backwards if he begins his dash at the far right side of the map.
  • Enemies can appear floating above the shop characters after an H scene, but should fix themselves quickly.
  • Liquid won't show on Onyx during the Thug's solo H scene.  This will be fixed soon.
  • The liquid spurt FX on one of the Thug's H scene finishers sometimes doesn't play.  We're aware of the cause and seeing if it pops up anywhere else before fixing it.
  • Spamming attack/jump while Onyx is knocked down can sometimes produce a glitchy animation just before she gets back up, which can affect her next combo.
  • Street Lord Wraxe's hitbox is not good, especially during his attack animations (Onyx's hits will usually miss when it looks like they should land).  He's the first enemy to move a lot from his origin during animations, and this separates him from his collider.
  • Infinite jabs are way overpowered against bosses right now.  Jab spam will be changed to a standing combo soon-ish (among other combat improvements).
  • Street Lord Wraxe sometimes blocks the view of H scenes with his big fat wraxe when he's a bystander.

Console Commands

The game isn't balanced that great yet, so some people have asked if there are ways to bypass bosses or get some help.  You can use console commands for this while the game is still rough around the edges. Press the  ` (backtick/tilde) key to open the console.  Type any of the commands below and press enter.  Press ` again to close the console.

  • godmode on/off - Makes Onyx indestructible.
  • onepunchmode on/off - Gives Onyx the ability to kill anything with one attack.
  • setwave # - Sets the enemy wave to the number specified.  Changes will not be reflected in enemies until the current wave is wiped out.  If you want to fight Street Lord Wraxe, who spawns on Wave 20, then set the wave to 19 and wipe out the remaining enemies.
  • setgamespeed # - Multiplies the game speed by the number specified.

Thanks for the upload, devs! Here's what I noted in my play testing: --Thank you for the Splicer h-scene! I'm having a problem w/ the splicer blocking most of the action with his clothing and forearm during the second part of the h-scene when he props her up. Less obscurity would be awesome here! --Splicer h-scene: At the end when the Splicer pulls out, I half expected her pussy to gush with cum as Onyx is writhing and twitching on the ground - that would be hot! Any chance of taking a request to add a gusher? ^_^ Thug H-scene: --I hadn't paid attention to it before but I noticed that as the Thug finishes his scene w/ Onyx, the first two ejaculates seem to fly a considerable amount backwards. I'm not sure if this was intentional but figured it was worth mentioning. Runt: --I noticed that the character model swells and shrinks during an h-scene, whether participating or as a bystander. This doesn't happen in combat, however. I did not get a chance to observe this anomaly in the Gallery. --H-scene w/ Thug: Runt could use a cum puddle when he finishes. Thoughts? Thug/Runt: --Runt Model Facing Wrong Way During H-scene: I wasn't able to replicate this but I had it happen during a fight with 2 thugs and 2 runts. I had the 2 thugs and 1 runt to my left screen and 1 runt to my right; Onyx is facing left. Thug initiates grab, h-scene begins, left-side Runt is grouped into the h-scene but facing the wrong way. Onyx/Shop Item: --For some reason I could not use the shop rag for the life of me. I'm using a Xbox One controller for the testing, and I'm able to use First Aid kits. --When do you plan to include voice acting and audio for Onyx? Looking forward to the end-of-month announcement!

Is it possible you had that volume turned down in a previous release? Your settings will carry over to new releases. If not then we will start bug hunting ^-^

I had made a comment about the Sex audio not seeming to properly work, but as it turns out my actual Headphones were simply not working correctly. Found this out while playing another game and no voice dialogue can be heard. Went back to double check with the issue I was having and can confirm the audio for the sex SFX is intact. Apologies for the misunderstanding! So far so good though with the build in general. Super excited to see the future updates. I had some suggestions and for starters was curious on the outfit effects. Something to consider for say the Fem Cop body suit. Perhaps during H scenes there can be more exposure as the scene progresses. For example, during the Boss H scenes, you would think while getting fucked so hard and her body suit being so light and revealing....her tits would fall out in time. Perhaps towards the climax her tits slip out. Not sure how challenging that could be on top of the existing animations. I think it would add a nice touch on top of position changes. I am curious if added moves or throws and grapples will be a thing. For both the player and enemy mobs. Throwing a mob into a group of on coming enemies could really add a fun touch to the beat em up feel. I did mention this in the past but limited use weapons could be super fun as well. Lastly and this is another thing brought on by nostalgia with beat em ups growing up. But adding more flair to bad guy entrances such as, thugs dropping in from above or coming out of alley ways or man hole covers. That would definitely add a whole new layer to the game rather than simply coming in from off screen. I do know this game is of course in early development and I am sure you have a million ideas for the future of this game. Just thought i would throw these things out there. Appreciate what we have done so far!

Not sure what I'm suppose to hear in the audio. I can hear the smacking of the intercourse and the finish of the scene. Is there suppose to be more to this, or is that it for now? I'm playing through my monitor's audio via HDMI and all my in-game settings have been reset to default (though I have not made any changes). Can you help shed some light on what the expectations were for the audio in this release so I can better understand? That way I can help keep an ear out for it. Thanks, Eromancer!

I love the newest update, I can't wait for new grapple animations, but I run into a bug where I can't use the clean rag to clean my character.

Is there a way to actually unequip items? It'd be awesome to remove her gear. Especially the shoes. I'd love to be able to have her fight barefoot. Be a huge hit for the foot fetish crowd like myself. The DP scene with the thug and the runt has the thug's cock clipping through Onyx's cheek occasionally, and sometimes the runt faces the wrong way and fucks the air. When skipping, the cum frequently materializes in the air after characters move, sometimes feet away if you spam skip. Does the titty attack do anything? Are there going to be animations with the Charger or the Vioreapers? What about anal options?

Sorry for the delayed reply! Currently can't remove items completely D: -- we may add this as a visual effect of equipment damage though. The clipping is most likely caused by an alignment bug that occur if physics is acting on one of the characters at the start of the scene. The skipping thing is known :D we need to add some mechanics to the FX system to prevent that from happening.
