There have been a lot of questions about the brewers challenge and that means that people are brewing like crazy!! In this update post I hope to answer most of the questions so that you can continue to brew.

1. Can I submit multiple deck?

No, I would like you to choose one deck. The reason for this is that I want to prevent double entries and get as many different decks as possible.

2. What website should we all use for pricing?

Cardmarket.com (low) is the website that I use. You can also use other price lists, but I use this website to determine whether or not your deck is under the $200 and if every card on your list is below $20.

3. Can the World Championship Gold bordered versions of cards be used for this?

Yes

4. Are foreign language and IE/CE versions allowed?

Yes

5. Is Fallen Empires allowed?

No

6. Will there also be a budget tournament?

Maybe, this is a brewers competition first and foremost, but it would be a shame not to test these beautiful decks.

7. Is the best budget deck the deck that can win from all the other budget decks?

No, the best deck is the deck that will most likely do best at an old school tournament with Swedish rules that will allow all these crazy reprints (and yes these tournaments do exist). I will take the challenge to figure out a way to judge your decks without seeing them actually in action (most likely I will need your input for this as well).

8. When is the deadline?

The deadline is August the 16th. That means that you need to send me your list, picture or link to sorcererprodigal@gmail.com on the 16th the latest.

Do you still have burning questions about the competition? Leave a reply or contact me on Discord.

I ordered a bunch of cards last week, and I'm hopeful that they'll arrive on time for proper pictures of my brew. I'm trying my best to meet the deadline, bit it's going to be close. 🤪

Hi David, you can also send me a decklist. For this challenge you don't have to own the cards, although it is cool to actually test out these decks!
