Very Early Progress Post - 1/31/24 (Patreon)

Help I've been consumed by yearning for old men

Jokes(?) aside, I didn't want to let January come and go without some kind of progress post to keep y'all in the loop. Honestly, I don't have all that much to say. Haven't done much art-wise since the Eric thing I made earlier (still gotta complete that, though I'm still more or less planning to complete it when I'm feeling like it). Writing, meanwhile, has been a more productive front. I'm getting into the waterpark day itself, meaning the brunt of Paul script changes.

There were a few before that day, but as a whole his route has actually held up rather well. A change here or there, a few dialogue tweaks, etc. Much better to go through than Jehu's route, which felt like every few lines I'd have to rewrite.

As for the waterpark day onwards (and I may or may not have said this before), any scenes relating to Mudan or Biyu are going to be tweaked. A few scenes between MC and Paul are going to also be adjusted, and Paul will be getting nerfed in terms of how many sex scenes he gets. He'll get one fruity one added in the waterpark day, but will lose the myriad he has in his latest day. As such, that latest day will have some more difficult writing adjustments I'm sure.

Though I haven't tested yet for unexpected bugs n such, I can say that I'm expecting Paul's route to be updated relatively soon. I don't want to make a promise since something somehow always ruins my plans, but I would like to get Paul's route out and updated in February! In fact, I imagine the next time I post will be as a prelude or a straight up launch of Paul's reworked route.

Even if the content changes will be significantly less drastic than Jehu's, I hope you all will look forward to seeing the updated visuals and everything else that's still going on in Paul's route!
