2021: A New Chapter (Patreon)

A message from the Director of Project Ceris:

Hi Everyone,

Going into 2021, we have decided to refresh many aspects of the project, just as the development is reaching its long awaited takeoff phase- as you will soon notice with our Public Demo rollout.

ShiHoYa and the development team have decided to make these changes in order to better accommodate our supporters, while also ensuring our development track's stability. The local and global environment in which we operate has changed drastically since the project's launch, and as such we firmly believe that these are the right changes to be made in order to adapt.

Our team is grateful for the support we've received, and we would like nothing more than to pay back the debt by delivering the very best product we can.

We'll be kicking things off with a change to this Patreon page. Since Salt Industries has become a part of ShiHoYa, the decision was made to rebrand this page as the Official Patreon page for Project Ceris. This will include changing of the page URL, Name, and Tiers, which will be carried out during the next few days. 

By making this page an official part of the development team, we hope to be able to deliver more detailed and varied content to our supporters while also making it a part of our public image.

Note: 

All existing tiers will be unpublished after 10 days of this post; those who remain on their current plan will have access to all the posts before and after this one, as well as continuing to receive the benefits. 

Others who are not in one of the unpublished tiers will only have access to new tiers and posts from here on out. 

One of our goals is to increase communication between our followers. As such, we will be providing regular Dev Blog posts; detailing and explaining game design decisions made by the team and providing an in-depth look at our plans and actions. We hope that this will not only provide a more engaging experience with Project Ceris development, but also clear up some of the confusion and questions people may have regarding it.

Our first blog post is expected to go up soon, detailing events and developments that we've had to date. You'll be able to see it on medium.com/project-ceris when it's up!

Website:

As some of you may have already seen, we're working hard on a complete overhaul of our outdated website. With so many changes to the development plans and processes since its launch, the old website's structure was decided to be simply incompatible with the new up to date information we wanted to display to the public.  We'll keep you updated on its progress, as the main page is set to launch in the coming days. 

Discord:

As a part of our aforementioned goal of increasing communication with our followers, we will be launching the public Discord server for Project Ceris along with the launch of our Public Demo, which is scheduled for next month. Once the public discord is launched, we'll also immediately begin integrating Patreon benefits to the server.

Last but not least, we've recently acquired the means to create high quality prints in-house as a part of our initiative to secure our development track's stability. As such we are looking to begin selling some Prints and other miscellaneous Project Ceris related merch products. 

We are looking into Gumroad as our potential platform of sale, but that may change; we will keep you updated on its progress!

Going into this year, we are looking to deliver more than we have ever done before; something that may very well not be possible in this new environment without your continued support. We thank you again, and we wish you the very best in 2021.
