Bryan! Might do a call in one day but I think early numetal, korn, limp bizkit, RATM etc actually was a continuation of grunges politics and late numetal, trapt, three days grace, chevelle were the type of rejection of the semi political aspects of grunge!

Early numetal is very hip hop influenced, and there is something radical about a bunch of white guys getting a bunch of white suburbs kids into hip hop and sort of breaking down that wall or opening them up to the aesthetics of hip hop. people in the 90s really believed that they could sorta overcome racism and stuff with music like that.
