I would have to say that currently Wild Flower is my favorite. When I first listened to Indigo, I was surprised in a good way. I think that this album provides me a deeper insight as to who RM is. I can better understand the emotion during the Fiesta dinner. It makes me sad when I hear them talk about how hard it is finding true friends. I can relate because I feel that way and I have very few friends. Once you get taken advantage of you become distrustful. Which can be unfair to new people that you may meet. When it comes to the heart, you do what you got to do the keep it protected. Keep up the great work and I am patiently (not really) waiting on the next solo projects considering the awesomeness of both JITB and Indigo.

I think it’s interesting you focus so much on the greatest art coming from suffering. I think it’s more of a two sided coin. Pain and suffering are definitely big artistic motivators, but the only times I’ve ever been driven to create, it stemmed from love. Love for my family and friends, love for a lyric or album, love for other peoples thoughts and ideas, I have never created something from my pain. TBF, I’m no great artist lol, but I do think some other great works were inspired by love too 💜 My favorite song on the album is also probably Yun. I just love the entire concept of that song and the sound and of course Eryka Badu’s vocal.

That’s actually a great point. A lot of beautiful art is a labor of love, not pain.
