Jimin’s part still makes me tear up.

I agree with you DT. I really think this is the best interview they've ever done. Even if we already knew q lot of the content they talked about, we got even more details about them. I believe every word they said here will inspire and touch a lot of ppls hearts💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I'll I can say after this interview is that it has helped me realize why I admire and respect BTS so much. They're the most amazing people out there in the world right now.

YES yes you should definitely watch the wembley stadium concert. It’s very special to armys and to bts. Overall I loved this interview so much. I’m so glad bts chose to go on this show... I was genuinely surprised when they announced they’d be on a korean talk show since they stopped going to any years ago (I think 2017 was the last time but don’t quote me on that). Anyways, I’m continually amazed at how the stars seemed to align for bts... Their success is simply incredible and it’s not something anybody will be able to match anytime soon. Their story always touches my heart and makes me glad to have known them and been their fan.

I think a lot of people don't realize how Yoongi is one of the most interesting people in the industry. He behaves nothing like your usual idol . His level of honesty, the subjects he talks about, his super private nature, he usually refrains from doing some things idols are expected to do to please the fans. I've only seen idols who are way older or who don't promote as a group anymore to talk honestly like this about the negative sides of fame and success. And he's been like this from the beginning. And to perform for almost 8 years with a serious damage on the shoulder...wow! Also, Jhope, being a male son in an Asian household, trying to pursue a risky career against his father will...the courage and absolute faith in oneself that it requires, it's no joke!

gonna copy and paste my other comment bc it still applies here. jimin is so strong ... but also it’s so weird that he’s the only vocalist who didn’t have lessons. he basically had to learn all on his own and he still managed to be the only lead vocalist, and one of the main dancers. i’m so proud of him, he’s turned out to be the it boy, face of kpop, best dancer in the industry, and much much more. also !! jimin is so good at variety shows and interviews in general. he’s so captivating and outgoing that he naturally makes everyone laugh and feel happy and comfortable. i’ve never seen that with another idol.

taehyung’s relationship with his father is so beautiful. the way his dad told him if he wanted to give up, it was okay to. sometimes we don’t need to be told to keep going & just fight through, sometimes we just want someone to understand where we’re coming from & to be on our side. they both seem to have a different way of looking at the world & it’s really refreshing.

This interview was amazing, emotional and full of motivation... I love these guys more and more...

sugaisagenius

Your words remind me of Paradise, one of the best BTS songs in my opinion 😍 Also, Tae's parents seem to be just as lovely as him. His mom packing snacks for all the members from predebut to now (as seen in In the Soop), the words his father said becoming a motto for all members. Taehyung has a pure heart, he is just good, sometimes we only discover about his kindness when other people reaveal what he has done 💜

Yes agree. This is one of the best interviews they ever did. But wait till you see Let’s BTS talk show too. They went a little deep amongst themselves. That show was also great. Thanks for reacting to this DT.

Thanks for reacting to this 💜

Yoo Jaeseok, the host of this show is ultimate no.1 celebrity in Korea. Everyone in Korea including celebrities admires his personality and his ability to lead a show. He is so genuine and talented. I was glad that bts met him because they can sympathize with each other as being top in their field and because they have usually openly expressed their respect for each other. This was the best TV show bts ever appeared on.

This was an excellent interview. They also did "Let's BTS." I hope someone can get you the link.I don't know how to find the full version.

jimin is so inspiring. he is absolutely the strongest person I know. I’ve so much respect for him. his beautiful heart and pure soul deserve all the love in the world and all the best things in life

If Jimin is the male idol that tops Korea’s Individual Brand Reputation Ranking, Yoo Jaeseok, one of the hosts of this show, is number 1 for Variety stars category. He is called the “Nation’s MC” and is a very respected personality in the industry. He is the role model of fellow entertainers and Korean citizens in general. As an avid fan of the Running Man show as well, I’ve seen many times how great his personality is.

when rm said it feels like shorten their lives, it's not an exaggeration. it's pretty well known fact that idol's joint condition is joint of middle aged people, and especially bts' choero is known as one of the most hardcore in the industry. each of them have chronic muscle pain and that's also the reason why massaging each other became their habit. you watched the documentaries right? they would faint, get injured, and the sports tapes are put all over their bodies during the tour. with those worst condition, they keep go up on the stage and do the extreme choreos over and over for three freaking hours for freaking months😬 they often talked about how painful it is. "it feels like my legs are about to burst." ofc they love what they do, but it's also true that they live with extreme fatigue and physical pain because of their extreme way of living. they strain their bodies so much.

On the part of Hoseok, Jimin and JK interview I swear I was about to cry...it was too emotional for me to hear everything they went through, all the hardships specially in the case of Jimin, all the fears he has ( I mean all the members felt the same I am sure but I know that Jimin always put extra pressure on his shoulders for his tendency to be extra demanding with himself) I can say proudly that they inspire me to be a better person when I met them 6 years ago, they went through a lot but always stay humble and fight until they achieve their dreams, thanks for all Bangtan :) tks DT for the great reaction!

Oh, I just love BTS so much. They are such an inspiration to me and I am 82 yeas old but I still learn from them. Best ever interview.💜

The Wembley concert video is great... I also agree that you should check out Let’s BTS. I kind of wish Jin had not requested his interview screen time to be cut shorter.

I wonder how many calories the burn on average, each concert?

Let’s BTS is also a great interview, I hope you will watch it, great in depth stories and a lot of fun.

onlyastarion

isnt jimin the only one with severe lifelong chronic muscle pain?? that he can’t even fix or get surgery for? i think he was just born with it and he chose this career

Actually not only variety show but all categories ^^ He is just god

M.JK

About the company being accommodating to the boys.... yes obv they should be but the boys know what they're worth. They're humble sure, but they're too smart to let anyone take their power from them. Even when they're that close and trusting to the company they take big decisions after discussion with lawyers (revealed when jtbc broke into bighit🤦‍♀️) They know their place at the company and they fully well know the company does too :)))

Claire

I love this interview too!! Another show they did recently was Let's BTS which was also an amazing interview!! Here is a link with eng subs : https://ok.ru/video/4174363298375

Ellie

Thanks for reacting to this! Jin mentioned on weverse after the show that he asked You Quiz to cut some of his parts because he thought it was 'mostly sad things' he was talking about, which is why he can't be seen speaking quite as much as the other members :)

you seems like enjoyed it why not for let's bts show. it is also a great show

Bts fights are often about food😂

Yes grammy has always been their dream and will be. They totally deserve it. One day they will get it with a korean song

You watched this at the right time DT :) It would be very interesting that you make a video about that interview + the news about BigHit aquired Ithaca Holdings. Because that's memorable in history.

I would disagree with you brushing off the physical toll on their health their performance standards have though - I really don't think it's an exaggeration when RM said they performed with the attitude of giving it all knowing they'd have shorter lifespans in the future. The behind-the-scenes in all the documentary series of them needing concentrated oxygen between performances, fainting and occasionally dangerously nearing exhaustion is just a glimpse of what they went through, and it's important to acknowledge that many athletes that push themselves physically so hard are genuinely exercising beyond what is healthy. Anyone who's watched the recent JinJunMin Vlive where they chatted (and tried to appreciate salad 😂) the other week might have caught a comment from RM that he's been exercising extra frequently since the pandemic started to stay in condition for when the tour starts again, to paraphrase, 'to avoid getting dehydration, fainting, exhaustion or heart problems...' - and he's right, the cardio strain of those performances would be pretty dangerous for them to jump back into after a break if they didn't keep themselves incredibly fit. If you think about it, they gradually conditioned themselves to bear that amount of physical strain regularly through a decade of near-constant effort, and this is the first big break from the all-or-nothing strain of concerts. Though no doubt they've still been practicing extra hard the last year it's a little less pressure. And although hopefully they're well beyond the downright unhealthy days of 2 hrs sleep and skipping meals regularly they mentioned as trainees, their still often up late and early with work, which also has a huge potential impact on your lifespan (DON'T UNDERESTIMATE SLEEP GUYS!). So I think it's really worth understanding when RM says they had that attitude of living for the moment for so long, and how having a genuinely enforced break from the physical strain they had embraced would leave them at a loss when they had the attitude of potentially sacrificing a bit of the future.

Where's the new run bts ep? I thought I saw a notification a few hours ago but was I dreaming? :o

Waiting for your reaction to the new run bts episode

JK was 15 year old in Korean age (just under 14 in intl age) when he joined BigHit, and 17 in Korean age (nearly 16 in intl age) when he debuted.

This You Quiz show is an example of what western talk shows need to learn from. The questions, the game, the vibe, etc...it is all great plus BTS it is Super Amazing 🤩. I loved this episode...they did such a great jobs and of course thanks to K-Army for buying all the commercials break so we can watch BTS all the way through without any commercial breaks!

Yoongi is indeed good at history
