the interviewer is an Army so she was definitely asking all the right and important questions. I really loved this one for sure, blue print for all other interviews!

Fatima is a sweetheart, she is an ARMY. I don't think she was downplaying the grammy's anticipation, but because she covers a lot of the "inside" of music industry she knows how it goes... I've always found endearing how much you were confident that the boys would get it DT! But as a 2013 army who has seen how they've been treated over the years not only in Korea but in America...i can say I was absolutely devastated but not at all surprised. We have a lot of army accounts focused on the business side of the industry and it helps understand how things work, some of us are even skeptical if the academy will ever give them an award (although we think no one deserves more than them)...let's see if things change. If our intuition is right and bh still wants to pursue a grammy,we can expect a huge change in both their music styles and "image" for the next comebacks... (just to be clear, we armys don't think they need to change anything to please western media, but bh is a smart company and they are very aware of how to play the game) Just an observation, but a band of BTS's status don't go unprepared for interviews...usually bh will receive the questions previously and they will discuss with the members what they think it's relevant to say, who wants to answer what and etc. So yes, they were honest about their hopes and desire to win, but they probably have discussed how they wanted to adress this, 'cause they know it's sending a message not only to their fans but also to the industry .

It’s interesting that we didn’t hear jungkook’s voice until the end of the interview when he said fatima!🥺🥺💔

I also was 100% sure they will win, it was shocking for me, I was super upset.

its because were all on twitter and monitoring the media, insiders, other artists etc and the way people have been acting (media, artists, industry, other fandoms etc) plus the grammys long history of snubbing poc artists we all on twitter knew some BS was gonna be pulled. and if you look at the media its been non stop attacks on bts since their loss. its like media was prepared to humiliate them. theres this new function on twitter called space and you can basically voice chat a lot of people on twitter. some armys were in the voice chat with recording academy people and they laughed when armys asked about bts and told us to wait and find out. before the loss that seemed side eye worthy but okay they dont wanna spoil it but after the loss armys feel like they were mocking us cause they knew bts lost already at that point. actually a racist drawing was made by a cartoon company called topps. and it was revealed topps already made the caricature A WEEK prior to the grammys. so multiple media sources knew and planned to humiliate bts in the media and use micro aggressions and racism to do it. armys used to be not so quick to claim racism but over the past 4 years its very clear the western industry and media does not like bts or army and wants them to "go back where they belong" as said by many korean armys thats the vibe theyre getting. bts has also said they feel very alienated here. im sorry if this is a lot but it was not a surprise to a lot of us. still just as angering though. fatima is one of the only army journalists who help tell the truth from armys perspective since most media outlets ignore us paint us as rabid teen girls or gaslight us.

i also highly suggest reacting to the mistreatment of bts by affectaed and the new xceleste bts hardships video when she posts the updated one (shes still working on it)

I disagree. They don't need a grammy to validate their place in history, especially being POC and not American, they've already done that. There are many huge artists in the music industry who have never won a grammy like Brian McKnight, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Katy Perry, Nas, Diana Ross, Tupac, Queen... These are nominated artists who never won. BTS doesn't need a win to cement their place in history, they've already done that. Also, it's not ARMY who initially wanted them to win. ARMY only wanted that win because the boys said they wanted it and it's our job to support them. But the last thing we would want for them is to face this kind of disrespect again. Honestly, after the way they were treated this year, I hope they never attend again and let's just watch as Grammy continues to lose relevance and viewership.

Thank you they are way above the Grammys .. they don’t need it to solidify them as icons they did that already and the scammys know it. Namjoon is very well aware of the damn racism that’s was going on and how they use them. That I told you after the announcement said it all. I hope they don’t ever give them the time of day again the scammies are trash .

I don't think that BTS and Bighit are naive about the blatant racism that's going on in the scammys. For me, them saying they will work harder this year does not necessarily mean they definitely have to win the scammys. It is kind of a message, a gentle threat maybe, to the scammies, that them working hard means they will keep on rising more and more to the point that even these scammies could no longer reach them. And that's for the scammies to decide whether to rise with them (they better get them the award), or to keep their prejudice and start digging their own hole to irrelevance. BTS keeps it lowkey, but I guess the ARMY knows best. Grammy just started a war, and they should know by now, they will never win while BTS still keeps their bomb called, "we will work hard". Those words are kinda menacing really, ever since BTS and ARMY began!!! The Rise of Bangtan will never stop until there are yet people like scammies that's left to humble themselves.

It just broke my heart seeing their reactions and watching Tae visibly flinch while Suga just closed his eyes. ARMY wanted it because the boys wanted it. Suga's quiet admission during that next next step interview, he seemed shy and almost afraid to put it out there in the universe. The fact that they had to, I don't want to say hide their emotions but temporarily set them aside, and immediately tweet, Weverse and v live to console us ARMY's, knowing that we were pissed and upset shows what amazing humans they are. Even then, when they saw ARMY's were still angry Namjoonie and Hobi posted thirst traps to distract us. I'm ranting sorry. But seriously, I get upset when they say that they will just have to work harder, like they aren't the hardest working, most considerate and compassionate artists out there. Them saying that they will give us better music... I don't think any of us are ready for that, their music is already life altering. I'm almost afraid to see what they give us, it'll kill all of us ARMY's.

They really don’t need a Grammy. Queen never got one, Diana Ross, Prince, Bob Marley, etc..

Of course you like this interviewer, she's an ARMY.
