Your comments at the end were spot on! I agree 100% with everything you said and you put it in a way I hope Armys who find AHL cringy will look at it in a new way! 💜💜

I agree with you 100%

I wonder if that mean boss is enjoying retelling his BTS story and proud that he bullied them before they became big...or is eating crow....

I’m pretty sure the kid was on Tik Tok a few months ago talking about it. 🤔

I agree with you DT on your post show comments and i think I wrote the same things in the comments of your reaction to the 1st episode. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and of course my favourite is Iris...

i still find it pretty bad, it’s slightly easier to watch in a reaction but i just don’t agree with a lot of things that happened and went on behind the scenes. maybe it’s bc i’m a 2012-2013 army (since that’s when i discovered them)

ya im one of those that saying this episode cringy and you really speak the truth. This still my fav show ever. Really a brilliant show. i believe that the successful comes to them is because the impact of this hustle life series. such a great show. they taught them a lot

hahaa about that 14 year old kid he watched that part where jimin talk bad about him and says he never get mad to jimin because he's been told to do that. i means to monitor them

Minkeytalk

Yes l agree with you DT . I think the guys learnt a lot about themselves and who they wanted to become in this series. Yes they were not treated as well as we all would have liked sometimes, but then that is the reality of life, sometimes you win and sometimes you have to endure A few unpleasant times, you grow and are made stronger by trials. I really believe Bighit and Mnet put money into the boys on this trip and it paid off 100 fold.

what i like about jimin is he's always smiling even he mad 😂

PIDDI

There are mini clips too like behind the scene clips! Maybe after that you can watch them too?

Sonja

Please react to either their latest ot7 vlive and their be-hind interviews on youtube - thank you! :)

Totally agree with you dt. That is exactly what i thought when i watched it. I do not find it cringe at all. They learned a lot of lessons here which reflect in their actions even today

Mai

I agree with you DT, I also really like this episode.

bts definetly learned a lot of things in this show but when it comes to them giving back, it's not like they only learned about giving back to others bc in america hustle life they were told they should do it. they've been giving out to the community and spreading love since way back but they obivously couldn't donate as much as they do nowadays bc they didn't have much money and they were still a smal group from a small company at the end of the day. however, i think it was great that they went to Skid Row and saw the unfortunate reality of some with their own eyes, i think that's more meaningful. overall i don't think this show is as cringe or terrible as people make it out to be. yes, there are cringe moments indeed but they come mostly from the shock of cultures. you can tell it's kind of hard for both the instructers and bts to know how to act because both cultures have their differences and at that time they weren't nearly as good as english as they are now. one thing i dont like is how rude a lot of people involved in the show were to them. yes i do know a lot of times they were told to do so for the show's purpose but i think in some situations they didnt need to be that arrogant to them.

This is Hip-Hop

DT I agree with you said. I think BTS learned a lot from AML. It is so touching, sometimes we complain about silly things and there are people who would be happy with little food.

Rajeshwari

I agree DT, I think this really put alot of things into perspective for them. BTS members have always been kind and talented but when given the right exposure people can groom and glow up. I became a fan of BTS when I saw this for the first time in 2014 because I had never seen a kpop group like this, learning things this way and also being so open and genuine about how they feel. As cringy as ppl see this sometimes, I definitely feel this helped them.

Queensthief

I am grateful I watched AHL with you, DT. One, I would have never watched it otherwise. Two, for your appreciation of the impact and meaning on BTS and their career. Thank you.

Yeah the airport manager made me really angry. Yeah, they weren't model employees, but they also didn't expect to work that day. Not only that but he was very overdramatic for small errors, like the red bull situation. Rather than being mad at them for accidentally knocking over a full red bull can, he should have a talk with his employees about leaving open drinks in a place that apparently just has gas and acid laying around lol. Then the helicopter ride...oof. Was it really necessary to get their hopes up like that? Like he treated them horribly, of course he's not going to get the best service from them lol Couldn't even respect them as young adults, putting them on "time out".

It was a reality show right? I don't watch reality shows usually bc I know that much of the situations are scripted and bc you know you're being filmed, you are less likely to be your true self. Having said that, I don't think any of the "bosses" would have truly acted that way, all of the men were just not nice! But I do love that they went to Skid Row and interacted with some of the people there.

Thanks for your thoughts on this series. Im seeing AHL in new light watching your reactions. 👍
