The young lady in the white Jewel unfortunately passed away in an auto accident about 1yr after this. BTS were very sad to hear about it. There was a mini documentary called "where are the girls from AHL today?😔

this episode makes me a little sad knowing one of the girls (jewel) passed away in a car accident because of a faulty air bag situation, only a few yrs after they filmed this. i think her father is still suing the company. :(

Oh god I must really like DT to have been able to go through this ep again LOL Warren G seems like a nice guy. That conversation about their families was very emotional, specially if we consider that at the beginning of their carrers they spent long periods of time without seeing them. I seriously don’t understand this concept of picking up girls at the streets and doing this kind of music video. I understand it fits hip hop culture, but it doesn’t fit the cultural context of kpop that not even BTS can scape (at least not until now). I mean, how many times did BTS had girls in their videos? Very few and never like this( and it’s not necessary to the type of music they make, obviously).For example,it’s a well known fact that BTS are really close friends with some female idols but when they meet in public, like award shows, they can’t even look at each other and have to act as if they are strangers...lol (by the way, i’m not blaming BTS for this, it’s just how things are over there) This “challenge” seemed to be put on the show mainly for entertainment lol....I cringed so hard! Even Suga said “let’s enjoy because we won’t be able to shoot a video like this back in Korea, so... And now I have this image in my head that somewhere in Korea a girl is telling her friends that once upon a time BTS Jin,Jk and V told her she was cute and patted her head lol

Its amazing how much they were willing and able to step out of their comfort zone. think this show was a great test of character and mainly proves that they can step up to any challenge at any time and place. They’re such a special group of guys!

DT, I was waiting for you to see BTS approaching girls. 🤣 I laughed so hard when V was saying "confidence, confidence" before introducing himself. V is so sweet and innocent. Love BTS 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think the reason why the boys were able to talk to all those girls despite the language barrier has a lot to do with the feeling they give off. They have such a sweet and genuine spirit about them, and I think others can feel that. You often say it's their "charm." :)

Jewel died in that car accident only 2 months after filming this episode actually, which is why she is widely known, and I read some articles saying that she often talked to her dad about BTS during the filming saying how she could tell they would be great people, she made a prediction of them

I love AHL. I don't get the cringe factor because this is part of BTS history. This how they started off and I love seeing them be their true selves.

I really loved Warren G and the way he treated the guys... This is the one of the episodes I laughed breathlessly 😂 V chanting confidence confidence; also suga being shy around the girls is the cutest thing ever, Jin asking "You don't know 'annyeonghaseyo'😂?" I love their cuteness and shyness.
