Oh man, I love this episodes! Suga to Jimin: Let's team up! 5 minutes later: I'm breaking up with you, you are no help to me! lol I wonder if DT is starting to pick up on the funny dynamics of this friendship, I love their interactions. They tease each other and bicker all the time, but also care a lot for each other! And no matter how many times Suga lies to Jimin and tricks him, he still falls for it till this day (latest run hahaha) :D I've learned a bit of korean, but I'm really bad at it, but it caught my attention the polite tone V used to adress the employee. And it wasn't in the captions but I guess he told the man to look for a guy with green hair in case he found the cards. Like people said before, RUN BTS is funny because these boys are millionaires, but they will betray each other and be super competitive even if the prize are snacks (although in this one the prize was actually a good amount )

because this game is being a "spy"(007) this is one of the Run BTS episode that they need to betray each other, this episode and the next one, we get to see friends betraying each other but still find it cute and hilarious.. 🤣we all know how Strong their Friendship 💜

If you’ve been watching the Korean variety show “Running Man” you would find this episode/game somewhat familiar. Similar to this Run BTS episode, Running Man would, in recent episodes, rent a whole mall for the cast and the staff and they would all run and scream and do the missions and challenges inside without bothering other people/non-staff. As I was a huge Running Man fan before, I easily recognized the similarity of this episode to that show and quickly understood how the game will be played.😀 Also, “betrayal” is a common theme in Korean variety shows and this episode is clearly one of those 😀

Some of favourite episodes, along with the sticker tag ones coming up - the first episodes I saw and the ones that immediately convinced me it was a worthwhile show 😆 The chaotic deceit and mind games are always fantastic, bc I feel like that's when the individual personalities show best as tactics are revealed - the theatrical melodrama they embrace and athletics are hilarious too (Blue Village was always another fav). Honestly I just really want to play a game along those lines myself - reminds me of some of my friends' antics

Since they rented two floors of the duty free department store out to play, all the other people you see (apart from some cleaners that V chats with and probably a couple of managers watching the stores) are BTS' crew members and staff for the episode; it's easy to forget just how many people are needed to be involved in the production besides the many many camera-people they have recording nearly all angles possible - producers, directors, the people who had to hide all of the cards and clean up after them (a serious job 😂), and probably a group looking out for general safety or security staff too, not to mention the ever present stylists and make-up team to keep them camera ready! This is a complex setup so they may need a few extra people, but think about behind the scenes of the episodes that seem simple - you can glimpse a crazy number of staff members hiding behind the cameras! It's interesting to remember this sometimes, to realise how professional BTS are at being entertainers and playing things up amongst themselves for the audience in a natural manner when there are really tens of people watching them the whole time! Of course, they've had so much experience by now, but it really is a rather unnatural environment when you stop to think!

Yes, V was unusually polite. I previously wrote a comment about that scene with the janitor. Instead of referring to the man as "ajusshi" (mister), he calls him "Sonsaengnim" (teacher, sensei). When I used to learn Korean from an older Korean professor, she taught me that I should call older strangers "Sonsaengnim" to show respect, but while living in Korea for almost 4 years I've never heard anyone under 40 call someone else "Sonsaengnim" (unless it was their job title) until V did. I was so surprised and it left a huge impression on me. V seems to value old-fasioned Korean etiquette and manners

- Lotte Duty Free - Lotte is pronounced "lo-tay", not "lot" - it's a big brand in Korea, you will hear it referred to often - when you see romanized Korean words with solo "a", like in cham cham cham (or hanbok), they're pronounced "ahh" like in Han Solo or ostrich - so cham cham cham rhymes with bomb bomb bomb - won to USD - for a rough idea of the amount, take off 3 zeros - 1,400,000 won = around 1,400 usd
